Ok, so after 2 parties in 2 days, I'm up 3.4 pounds and back over 140, so still 23 POINTS. The good news is that my sister is going to exercise with me now that she is done with grad school. My goal for the week, despite the holiday, is to lose at least 2 pounds. I know I can do it.
Here's how I did today.
Overall, I can't complain about today. I'm hoping for an even better day tomorrow. My sister and I are going to do The 30-Day Shred together and I'm hoping to get in 10,000 steps again. I'll probably also spend some time shoveling. I'd also love to get in a Biggest Loser DVD workout and 10-15 minutes on the machine in the basement. I'm hoping for 4 APs tomorrow. Sundays usually bring more food, but probably not with the snowstorm coming in, so breakfast will be my usual oatmeal with a diced up apple and lunch will be a roast beef sandwich. Dinner is chicken with carrots and yams. My father is making stuffing, but I'm not planning to eat any. Well, I'm off to bed. I'm quite exhausted.
Here's how I did today.
Eating: Eat 22 POINTS plus at least 1/2 of the APs earned that day.
- aka: I earned 4 APs so I must eat 24 POINTS.
I ate 25 POINTS and earned 2 APs. Perfect!
Daily Good Health Guidelines Targets:
- Drink 6 8 oz. glasses of liquids. Check!
- Eat/drink 2 dairy servings. Only 1
- Eat 2 additional protein servings. Check!
- Eat 1 of 2 servings of oil. Check!
Activity: Earn at least 1 AP per day with the aim being 4 APs per day. Some suggestions include:
- 10,000 steps (1 AP) Got in over 13,000 for 2 APs
- The 30-Day Shred (2 APs)
- 15 minutes on the exercise machine in my basement (2 APs)
- 20-30 min. leisurely walk (1 AP)
- The Biggest Loser 30-Day Jump Start exercise program (1-2 APs)
- A The Biggest Loser DVD
Other Goals:
1. Avoid chocolate. Check!
2. Wear my pedometer dailiy. Yep!
3. Go to the gym at least 3 times. 0/3 so far
4. Do The 30-Day Shred at least 5 times. 0/5 so far
5. Eat as few of my WPA/APs as possible. 2 eaten so far
6. Plan my breakfast and lunch in advance. Not so much
7. Write in my tracker and WISH Journal daily. Yep!
8. Take a multivitamin and a calcium and magnesium supplement daily. Calcium yes, other 2-no
These look doable. Hoping I'll achieve more of my goals this week...
