I do agree with BigRiver being shut down. That food is awful!!
Why not hire a real man for a chef?

)Michael--yes (If he would only stop trying to hide in the closet behind that "fake wife" of his.)
Tom--no. For some reason his attitude is a big turn-off for me.
My girlfriend has had a few lengthy convos with Tom. She said he is very nice.
I know a person's television persona tends to be quite different than what they're really like, so I'm sure he's a sweetheart. When he's been shot candidly he seems a lot more personable. I felt the same way about Bobby Flay when he first started on the Food Network......but he's just one of those people who comes off as kind of "harsh" on camera. Over the past couple years he's grown on me and he seems like he'd be kinda fun to hang out with.
I can't stand Bobby Flay. I have had the dis-pleasure of meeting him about 3 times. He is as aggorgant and harsh in person as he is on TV. It's no act. He can cook, but he is an (three letter word that starts with an A).
Speaking of chefs (and the person is in no way attractive) another one that is in the same class as Bobby is Lidia Bastianich. I was at an IACP event about 10 years back, and WOW she amazed me at how she treats people. Demanding is an under statement.
In Padalyn's photo above, Cat was busting our chops about our "children" and had to have a picture with them.
I love Lidia Bastianich! And I think the fact that she is so "stereotypical Italian character" and demanding is exactly why I like her. (Plus, her food always looks amazing.) I was having a conversation about her with a friend the other day and we were saying how she could probably stop a Mack truck with her evil stare.
Mario Batali- seems like an egomaniac too - but boy is his food great.
Are you sure you don't just like him because he has his own line of Crocs?![]()
His food is wonderful, though.
We did his pasta tasting menu with wine pairing- It was heaven

I don't recall seeing her on the show, I know I must have, is she always on at the end when they eat the food?LOLAll these chefs are nice, but wouldn't it be wonderful if "The Naked Chef" was actually naked?!! What's up with that false advertising?
I always thought that british guy was cute, Jamie something or other, I don't think he is on food tv anymore.
