I was only sick at Disney twice and the worse of the two was the morning after I ate at Big River.


The second time was when we (Stupidly) went to Typhoid Lagoon when the temperature was 50 outside.

I know a person's television persona tends to be quite different than what they're really like, so I'm sure he's a sweetheart. When he's been shot candidly he seems a lot more personable. I felt the same way about Bobby Flay when he first started on the Food Network......but he's just one of those people who comes off as kind of "harsh" on camera. Over the past couple years he's grown on me and he seems like he'd be kinda fun to hang out with.

but actually - Cat is a wonderful person, I have had the pleasure of meeting her a couple of times and she is always gracious, pleasant and friendly!

Speaking of chefs (and the person is in no way attractive) another one that is in the same class as Bobby is Lidia Bastianich. I was at an IACP event about 10 years back, and WOW she amazed me at how she treats people. Demanding is an under statement.

LOL! I love Lidia Bastianich! And I think the fact that she is so "stereotypical Italian character" and demanding is exactly why I like her. (Plus, her food always looks amazing.) I was having a conversation about her with a friend the other day and we were saying how she could probably stop a Mack truck with her evil stare.

Now, given, if I had to work for her as a sous chef and she was the same way......I'd probably not like her. But on TV she's okay.

Yes, I always thought the "wife" thing was I don't recall seeing her on the show, I know I must have, is she always on at the end when they eat the food?
