Castaway Cay 5K

Does anyone know if they still have the Castaway Cay 5K race? If so, how do we sign up? Is it a "port excursion"? Do we sign up ahead of time or while on the ship? Is there an entrance fee? It sounds like a fun family race so I hope it's still an option. Thanks

Yes. It is an official run disney event now. The course is well marked. Look on your navigator and meet on the ship where you will sign up that morning then head out for the run when the boat is cleared. Enjoy.

Just did it on Friday, so yes, they definitely still have it! Very fun. Look for info in the navigator, but all you do is sign up that morning--no pre-registering.
