Evening folks

It's been a loooong day and I am super exhausted so I won't be posting any pics but maybe tomorrow night

We didn't get home last night from MK until almost midnight, we were so tired we crashed right away. OMG, it was sooooo cold last night!!! It was down to about 11 degrees C!! That's just a little over 50F!! There were hardly any jackets and hoodies left in all the stores, people were wrapping anything and everything around themselves to stay warm. We saw people snuggling together under blankets and rain ponchos to keep the wind off of them, it was quite a sight!! We ended up buying all three of us some hoodies to keep warm and thank goodness Rob had brought a nice big warm blanket from home to keep Kira warm. It was weird being in MK and being so cold! We had so much fun last night though we were glad we stayed!

I got wind burn on my face it was that cold!!! Took a pic but I look scary in it

With only 8 hours of sleep in her, Kira woke up at 8 this morning and we did AK for a few hours.

We found Sean, Bernie and Bailey on the Safari with us They were having an awesome time!

It was really cold again this morning I had to put a long sleeved shirt and pants on Kira. It's the outfit she was going to wear home. I only packed shorts and t-shirts for her because it was supposed to be 85F everyday!

Went to DD for supper at T-Rex, Kira was really good at supper because she was so tired

Tomorrow is MGM

Gotta get some sleep! Nighty night

Ended up buying her some pants and long sleeved tops here.

Wow! SOrry to hear it is so chilly! Weather keeps going from one extreme to the next down there!!!

So wasn't TRex fun??!! Ernie especially loves it there. Wish my kids were cooperative when they are tired, though. They do the opposite, though, and go on LUDACRIS speed when they are pooped. Makes for some loud and unmanageable times. LOL

Can't wait to see some pics! Loving your live from report and can't wait to hear some more.
Hope everyone slept well last night! Are you going to be able to take pics of your rental? Or do we have to wait until you get back? NO hurry at all...just wondering. Can you tell I am vicariously living through you right now??!!

A cute little story

My daughter did something really cute that I just have to share with you guys.

It was Wednesday morning and I was busy getting stuff ready for Rob's birthday. Kira was in my office under one of my work tables playing with toys and she calls out to me "Mom, you take a picture please?"



OMG, did she really just ASK me to take her photo????

When I break out the camera, she does one of two things usually:

1-Runs away yelling "NO PICTURES ME!!!!!!!!!!"

2-Says cheese while looking away from the camera.


So, of course I RUN to grab the camera in absolute shock and amazement and run to my office because now I am super curious as to why she would want me to take a picture of her.

Of course, in those 3 seconds, all kinds of scenarios are running through my mind. Mostly bad ones of course

I get to my office and there she is sitting with our cat Goofy, looking out the window, cuddling him!!!!!!!!


Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

My heart just melted. Not only was it incredibly cute but I was so in awe of the fact that she actually understood that it would be a great memory to capture on film! (ok, digital media card )

WDW was so magical for me when I was a kid, I want her to have some really great memories from her trips too



No, we don't have Target up here But she has the two dresses that I posted plus I bought her a cute Snow White one from Walmart the other day which I am holding on for her until either her birthday or Christmas


Yeah, I remember last year....


She was not happy about putting ANY costume on that morning! But then she saw her cousin Dani in a costume and she was she was OK with the idea.

But then it came time to go TOT-ing and she was NOT happy about that Tink costume you so kindly sent us

And then we got the Aurora dress on and after a few minutes she was happy to be wearing it

I don't think we will have the same problems as last year though


If I don't see you before you leave, have a FAULOUS trip Melody!!!! It's almost here!!!

Today was a fun-filled day. We did everything I had planned on doing except for B & T B because it just didn't fit into our schedule.

It was cool in the morning again (about 11C when we got to the park this morning 53F) but it got nice and warm this afternoon, even hot for about 2 hours or so and then cool again once the sun started setting.

We got to see quite a few characters today for Kira and she loved Toy Story Mania. Lunch at 50's PT which was fun as always and then we did the Lights, Motors Action show which I thought would freak Kira out because it's loud but she did really well! She had some meltdowns in between all the action but she loved watching the cars!!!!

We had a super duper awesome supper at Sci-Fi!!!!! It was the best dining "experience" so far for us. Not foodwise, although it was bad but the best part was that Kira sat in the front row of the car with Bailey and we sat behind them and she was sooooo well behaved!! AND...get this...she ate!! And I mean she ate!! She doesn't eat a whole lot during meal times, she is more of a snacking kind of girl but she ate a whole pizza by herself (minus the crust which she so sweetly gave to her daddy, just like I do ) plus she ate some apple slices and some onion rings AND Bailey even fed her green beans!!! Then she had some M's and M's (as she calls them ) for dessert! She loved watching the movies and she didn't have a single bad minute. Usually she gets bored or she acts up for one reason or another but nope, not this meal! I told Bailey she is so hired to babysit!! It was the most relaxed meal I've had since we've been here!!!


Rob took Kira to see Fantasmic which she loved despite having some meltdowns while waiting for the show to start. She seems to have the hardest time when she has to sit and wait for something. She does well when we are in lines because she plays with the ropes or bars or whatever she can find but she just does not like to sit ands wait for anything!!

I got to ride TOT and RNRC with Sean, Bernie and Bailey and had a wicked time!!

Thankfully we are home early tonight so Kira can get some much needed sleep!

Tomorrow is Epcot and since it's a late night, we will attempt to take a break and head back to the condo after lunch and then return by 6pm to meet up with Brenda and Jason I'm hoping for a serious lack of meltdown madness for at least 30 mins so they don't run away from us as fast as humanly possible

Ok, time for some rest
