Does anyone know if there is a casino on the new Disney ships.

I sure hope not!
I'd really rather they didn't (for a variety of reasons) but if they DO, I won't get all upset about it. It's not like I'm worried about blowing money in it- but I want a cheaper price for the cruise then... because I can go on other cruiselines a lot cheaper that have that type of "atmosphere" (that I keep hearing about) -on ships that have casinos.
(but yes, I'm fine with paying more and not having it)
I don't see it happening though. Doubtful.
From Tom McAlpin, prior President of DCL, the new ships will definetely not have a casino. This was asked by another cruiser during a Castaway Club meeting on the first Mediterranean cruise in 2007, which Mr. McAlpin was on. Obviously I don't know if anything has changed in the past 2 years, but at that time, it was a definite no.
I am alott like the old Adam Ant son from the 80's "Dont Drink Don't Smoke what do ya do?" I Disney that's what I doI don't gamble either and have NO desire to do the Vegas thing. Disney is the perfect solution for my husband and I. I could care less if you have drinks at dinner and want to go to a designated area and have a smoke but I don't want you sloppy drunk and angry because you just lost your butt playing poker.
I am highly allergic to smoke and when they walked us through the Atlantis casino I was not in there 2 minutes with the stale smoke and was already reaching for some benadryl!![]()
I went on one carnival ship "The Triumph" it was a 5 year old ship that looked 15 and I swore off cruises after that. We took a chance with Disney and they "converted us" back from the dark side!Casino' add a very undesirable element.
Long Live DCL without Casinos![]()
