I know I keep saying this, but I love Casey Jordan on InSession. Here's what she posted on FB:

Okay, gang. Simmer down. Pretend you are THIS JURY. Not YOU on the jury, but an actual member of the jury (take out your juror cheat sheets now). Which jurors will believe Cindy, which will not, and what will they want to know more about in order to make up their minds? What specifically about Cindy's testimony will be believable or NOT believable. Why?

Love the "simmer down" comment. I think there are a lot of people in a tizzy right now. I wonder if The Anthony House is going to get some protesters again. I wouldn't want to see that happen. But it does appear that many people have lost sympathy for Cindy.

I'm hoping her employer is like mine. Educational records have to be kept for a minimum of three years, some five.

Even if they were at the minimum 3 years for medical records, I don't know that the employer would do a rolling purge every day, more like they'd delete all the June 2008 records on July 1. Let's hope, anyway.

It seems so calculated that they waited until after June 16th to put Cindy up on the stand to ask these questions. This may be the one strategy thing that was intelligent on the part of defense, IMO.

She worked in a hospital? They'd have to keep any of the medical records well beyond 3 years, there are bills 3 years old that haven't been paid for one reason or another. I don't think that stuff goes away....

Yup. :sad2:

OK...now I'm getting paranoid about searches. LOL DS (18) got a nosebleed in his car (or so he says...hhhmmmm...he gets them with his allergies) which got on his shirt, and he grabbed the WHITE towel he had in the car (he took one of my WHITE towels to the beach when we have a stack of beach towels???) which got covered in blood. Got the spots out of his white shirt with Carbona for blood, but need to google how to get large quantities out of the towel. :sad2:

don't do it - don't clean it up -

you're the second one to clean up a crime scene from here.

ok that's it - i know nothing, i don't know you people, i'm completely innocent and i have no knowledge of what time you people leave your jobs to create fake alibies for your children.

ohhh it's fine - it's gone down thanks to the meds.

i missed all the bs today - coulnd't get anything on my iphone and dh didn't bring my laptop til about 3 then couldn't get a signal until just as they were finishing up and sent the jury out then baez got the door slammed in his face lol

Well I am so your BP is down. Well I guess you got the best shot of the day. Who slammed it in his face?

Don't Google "how to make....." :scared1:

Had it not come out that George and Cindy do not think Casey to be innocent, I don't Cindy would have lied today. I think she is trying to do damage control.

I agree with this, but I think it's more than that. I wonder if the horrible direction the defense has been heading is a part of it, too. I was just watching Cindy's testimony from the beginning of the trial. Today it's a completely different Cindy. I suspect the combination of the attorney's remarks yesterday and the pitiful defense up to this point is what brought about this "confession" from Cindy.

didn't i hear the judge basically turn down baez' after court thingy with 2 or 3 potential witnesses? i'm sure he said no go

Peroxide. Or Oxyclean.

And that is why there are red washcloths in the first aid kit in my car.

That is some good advice right there. :)

I think we will have to trust that the jury caught the inconsistencies.

On FB, I follow the Casey Anthony Trial Discussion. This question was just posted. I haven't thought about it from this point of view:

How many of you feel that the statement made by the Anthony's attorney indicating they did not feel Casey was innocent was intentional to have Cindy's testimony this afternoon seem genuine?

What do you all think?

It doesn't really matter because the jury has no idea what the attorney said.

Kurby, glad to hear your BP is down! Go to wftv.com, they upload the whole court day for people to watch, from start to finish....

Just started following Dr. Casey Jordan on Facebook. I like how she seems to reply to people who post on her page.:thumbsup2

I believe so. I've been saying this all afternoon.

Holy cow today. I'm just catching up. What a turn of events. Here I thought Cindy's testimony would be the final straw..but it turned out to open a HUGE hole.

If anyone wants to see Nancy Grace's head explode on live tv, there's a good chance of it happening tonight!

:lmao: then I'd be doing this :happytv:

Does anyone have more info on this medication that Cindy's presently takin', what makes her think more clearly now than 3 years ago?

whatever it is, I want it.

Deleted searches. You have to feel that someone was wanting to hide those searches. If Cindy was just checking to see if bamboo leaves were toxic to dogs, why would she delete?

Wouldn't you just search 'is bamboo toxic to dogs'?

But does the jury buy it? The pundits sure think the defense scored a possible "reasonable doubt".

If this woman goes free I'll be more disgusted that when OJ got off.

me too, and I pretty much thought he would go free since he had a good defense team and a weak prosecution team. This was is the opposite and if the lies set her free I'll be ticked.

Jean also pointed out that Cindy testified that Casey would be gone during the day, "working" at Universal. How could they computer swap if Casey wasn't even supposed to be there?

good question

After 22 years of having a daughter and all of her experience as a nurse, Cindy decided to look up acetone to see if it is dangerous? A mother doesn't know that acetone could be dangerous if swallowed? A nurse doesn't know this? She needs to search alcohol to find out if this will hurt her granddaughter? She needs to search all the individual ingredients in Purell to see if they are dangerous instead of just looking up Purell itself to see if it is dangerous?

Hmmmm, I'm not medically trained and I could tell you these things without searching.

In fairness, I think I have visited the Dis approximately 6,839 times a day since this trial started. :lmao:

I visit at quite a bit normally..break and lunch time while at work, a few times a night. When Idol is on I'm on here more than that and of course I'm catching up here so on here a bit more..but I tend to keep my stuff open in separate tabs so I'm not reopening each time.

CINDY! CINDY! CINDY!

I just hope she can live with herself if Casey gets away with it.

I understand she doesn't want to see her put to death, I'm not sure I wouldn't have done the same thing if I was Cindy; however, I think Cindy will never get over it if she helps her daughter walk away for this scott free!:scared1:

We can only hope the jury sees through her lies. I do wonder what they are all thinking right now? I'd be exploding wanting to talk to someone about this.

Yeah, but you're on this thread for the purpose of following information and opinions, as well as commenting on a court case. Totally different reason than being on myspace or fb. How many times have you gone to your facebook page in the same day? Probably nowhere near 83 times!

UMMMMM, between all my games and stuff it could be a lot. BUT not 83 times (I hope)

maybe cindy didn't know casey was home when she typed in a search for choloraform, got up, went to go pee and casey took that moment to go to myspace then left before cindy came back.

and maybe pigs really do fly :lmao:

I'm behind on HLN, but Mike Brooks just pointed out that if she was worried about bamboo and her dogs, why wouldn't she search for "bamboo and animals" instead of chlorophyll?

I said pretty much the same thing

Didn't George testify the very first day that he had never sexually molested ICA? He was the very first witness and that was one of the questions they asked him. I don't think he can testify to something else now without purgering (sp) himself.

yes he did. He was asked if sexually molested his daughter and he responded with "no, I did not".

I'm hoping her employer is like mine. Educational records have to be kept for a minimum of three years, some five.

I work in medical insurance. We purge information, but that purged information is stored so we can retrieve it if we need to. I get calls all the time from people that need EOB's for 6 or 7 years ago. Even if they no longer our with the plan we can still pull the purged records. I can even view them..but boy are they ugly to look at and try to decipher. LOL.

I know we would also need to store notes from phone calls etc for that same reason. we document every call and if we talked to someone and gave information that was wrong or misleading and then there was a lawsuit years later we would need to be able to pull up those notes.

I'm trying to remember...who's the other one? We might want to um...keep in touch.

Here's a "crime scene" story:

Last Fall, our dog (GSD) seriously hurt himself. I was in the shower trying to unwind (my mom's wake was the next day) and my DH comes barging in asking where the Pet First Aid Kit was. (Do you think either of us could remember??) A neighbor's house had been robbed, and the police came to ask if we had seen/heard anything. Well, since our charming GSD was not socialized as he should have been (huge regret, and very irresponsible of us, I admit), he totally freaks out when anyone is at our house, so DH had put him in the garage while he spoke to the officer. Apparently, there was a broken glass container in there next to the door and our GSD, frantically jumping on the door into the house to get at the stranger, got sliced badly on the back of his leg.

When LE left and DH let GSD in the house, GSD went running past him before he realized he was bleeding profusely. I came out of the shower to find the kitchen floor and the porch floor covered in smeared blood, and actual puddles of blood on the garage floor. While I got dressed (in flannel pajama pants :confused3) and called a vet which is open late (this was about 7 PM), DH bandaged the dog's leg, wrapped it in plastic, and um...duct taped it. Then we put another plastic bag over it, and duct taped that. By the time we got to the vet, there was blood all over the back of DH's COMPANY car...a van. DH was not happy. Nope. And I was wearing basically pajamas, had soaking wet hair and no makeup on. Not that that's what was important...I'm just setting the scene. :)

Brought GSD into the vet...blood all over the floor. And since he doesn't like strangers, and put up such a fight, he was ALL over the place. For the two hours we were there, they kept having to bring out a mop to clean up. Then we left GSD for another two hours while they sewed him up under anesthesia (they were concerned about putting him under, with all the blood loss) and he came out of it. Let me tell you...after 17 days with my mother in the hospital, and 5 days of dealing with wacky relatives ALL from out of state (and one sibling in another country) and trying to plan the funeral, this was the LAST thing I needed.

Meanwhile, DS (17 at the time) was at a HS event, and I was trying to get a hold of him from the vet's because we never cleaned up the blood at home, since we left in such a hurry! I was a wreck that he'd get home, find us not home and blood all over the place. No answer on his cell phone. I just happened to be in touch with DD by text, away at college, making plans for her to come home for my mother's wake/funeral, and told her briefly about the dog (I'm texting challenged and keep them as short as possible). So she texts her brother and says "Did you hear what happened to the dog?" Um...he hadn't, and she really didn't have details, and it was a mess all around. But, it did turn out that I got a hold of him before he got home, and we all got home around the same time.

DH never cleaned the floor of the garage...just covered it with old blankets. Hope we can sell the house. LOL And DH has coupons for car cleaning, but hasn't brought it since then. Wonder what they'll think about those spots they can't get out. :scared1:

So that's my "crime scene" story. :)

i've learned a few things being a crime scene junky - not all blood is created equally.

animal blood has different make up then human and is easily tests

you can't ever get all the blood out - unless you use bleach.

and thanks to scott peterson - if you try to wash it off and they come to your house and use luminal (sp) the swirl patters will glow in the dark for ages and ages leading a path to the start of the whole thing

I thought that. Doesn't affect the jury, but maybe they were going for the court of public opinion. (Didn't work.)
Just started following Dr. Casey Jordan on Facebook. I like how she seems to reply to people who post on her page.:thumbsup2
Yes! I do like that. Very unlike some other public people.
Peroxide. Or Oxyclean.
Thank you! I think I'll throw in a slap upside his head too.

I am very curious what the Anthony family would function like if Casey was able to walk free. Would Cindy be there with open arms knowing her daughter was involved in Caylee's death? Would she be alright with allowing the murderer of her grandchild to live in her house again? Does she care that her daughter accused her husband of an unspeakable crime?

She would probably tell Casey to make another grandchild for her.

Seriously. I would not be at all surprised if Casey had another child (father unknown). What a frightening thought.
