KC did want to do that stuff. GA and his felon friend were pimping her out for those photos.

Ooooh nooo, I am starting to think like the defense.

Welcome to the dark side. j/k

Where are these photos everyone is talking about?

Again, no reward as no body had been reported missing.

Yep at the time dnoyes theory on Kronk starts there was no reward. So that makes no sense at all. Add to that the fact that city/state employees are ineligible to receive rewards and it smashes that theory even further.

Heck Kronk himself declines to call the tipline while on the phone to 911 because he wasn't interested in any reward.

Granted no reward at that time ... doesn't matter. Casey looked up missing children months in advance and was certainly aware that there would be eventual reward money for a missing child. She could've told Kronk to keep it shut until a reward was announced, then he could move in to claim the reward. However, Kronk called the wrong number and blew it for himself.

Remind me again how many days between Caylee's death, the time that it was reported that Caylee was missing and when people started looking for Caylee's body? Time enough to come up with reward money, no?

Reward money generally comes from the family. She knew what she had in her account and what her parents had and what her grandma had so she wasn't in a position to pony up any reward money.

And as I wrote above Kronk called 911 as he intended. So he didn't blow it for himself because he wasn't calling for the reward money.

It was 31 days from the day shes was killed to when Cindy called 911. If I remember correctly it was the following weekend that George and Cindy and a few of Caseys friends got together to distribute fliers about her being missing.

Actual physical searches came shortly after and were based on interviews OCSO did. I remember they dragged a lake at one point.

So, Mare, what's it been a week now and they're still arguing parking laws on the other thread???

Just a legal junkie, ain't ya!! :surfweb:

Even if it was an above ground pool, it still could've been an accidental drowning. Caylee was capable of climbing that ladder. She did so with someone standing behind her in case she fell. So, that tells me she could've gotten herself up on that pool deck on her own and could've fallen in. Just becuase it's an above ground pool doesn't mean someone couldn't accidentally drown in it.

Casey, Cindy & George knew Caylee could climb up that ladder. Casey could've easily have said "I took my eyes off of Caylee/I thought Caylee was sleeping on the sofa/insert whatever excuse and when I went to check on her, she was gone. I looked all over for her and found her in the pool. She knew how to climb the stairs but usually has someone behind her to be safe. She must've decided to do that on her own." and made it look like a total accident.

IF (huge IF because I do not think there was a drowning) that happened, Casey would've been charged with neglect/negligence for not watching her child. That would've been an easier sentence to swallow than what she faces now.

Sorry so late, step away for a while and we're ahead 20+ pages and I have to play catch up :cutie:

I agree she should have just reported it IF there was a drowning, and agree Caylee could have drowned if she climbed the pool ladder.

BUT they supposedly removed the pool ladder each time they were done with it, so there wouldn't have been any ladder for Caylee to climb any steps to get in by herself. She couldn't shimmy up the sides, etc.

The ladder would have had to be there and Cindy said:

after she and Caylee swam in the pool on Father's Day, she removed the ladder from the outside of the pool as she always did.

She said the ladder was too heavy for a small child to lift and put back into place.

Ugh. It's like who can you believe in this whole case with this cast of characters KWIM?

If it wasn't so gross, I would point out what I'm talking about LOL
I kind of see what you mean about the picture. I was going to ask DH what he thought but he's watching the hockey game, which gave me time to think better of it! I can hear it now "Is THAT what you do on the DIS??" Husbands! It's LAW stuff. Duh!
What's even worse is I am googling her name with all kinds of words after it and now I'm thinking OMG..what if someone searches my computer they will see her name with all these not so nice words after it and searches for duct tape and chloroform....holy cow!
We've already crossed the line. We're all going to prison with our searches, so we might as well get everything we've ever wanted to google out of our systems! :rotfl2:
OH my, murder, abuse, sex, stealing, incest and now porn... how Disney of us all!:lmao:
And we haven't heard the whole defense case yet! There's time for oh, so much more!

Don't tell me that thread is back! Oy!

I remember when we could close our own threads! Ah, those were the days!

OK, lets do this again.
The reward money was up to $220,000 by the time of the FIRST visit of George and Cindy to the jail. These tapes have been played a million times on HLN or you can just join Websleuths and hear them for yourself. When Cindy tells Casey about the $220,000 reward you will hear Casey say "That's almost half of my bond"

If you care to go down the long and dirty road of Mr. Kronk you will read depisitions from his boss who was called to the site when he "found" the body for the forth time stating Roy leaned against his truck and told his boss "I just made a ton of money"

You may also want to read his sons depo before you go to bat for Mr. Kronk.

The guy fits right in with the Anthony family.;)

I don't see anyone going to bat for him...we're all just saying that it makes zero sense that he had anything to do with Caylee's death. That just is such a far stretch and remember they can't say he had a thing to do with this because Casey's lawyers have said that Caylee's death was an accident and George helped her cover it up.

For Kronk to be involved then George would have had to have called him and after Casey drove around with the body in her trunk for days Kronk finally met up with them somewhere where they wouldn't be seen and took the body and put her in those woods...cause you know if George wanted it really covered up he would tell him to put her body in the woods close to the house instead of areas further away and a lot more deserted.

Him saying what he said about getting rich, or making big money just makes him one of my kids favorite words for jerky, idiot guys...a d'bag.

Ok I have been a member at WS since 8/26/08. As a member of WS I joined a group of women who were as interested in the case as I was. When we got together we were formidable. You may remember a character in this case from early on named Todd Black. Well I was the one who outed him as Gil Cabot. Me and my 3 other "sheep". If you remember correctly our report made national news and Nancy Grace had an FBI agent on to confirm our findings.

As for the $220,000 that's what actually got us going on our side investigation. It was a fake. It was set up by a non existent car dealership who was selling raffle tickets for $20 a pop as a way to bulk up the reward money but the money from the raffle tickets never materialized and noone ever won the prizes.

And another side fact about the money was that it was only good for 30 days.

Funny side note:

My kids and I are really into this case. The TV cord keeps comming out of the wall in the bedroom....

I walk to the kitchen and grab the duct tape.

My son: What are you doing???? (said with slight hesitation and fear in his voice)

Insert uncontrollable laughing here.:lmao::lmao:

Good for you! I remember that on websleuths. I post there also and have for 4 years.

That is correct. Ray didn't make much money on his find. I'm just glad that he was persistent and kept calling. Most people would have given up after a couple of calls. I don't think he recognized the skull on the first few calls. I don't think he was that sure at first.

You're welcome to do it as many times as you'd like, but I get the feeling that you think you're "in the know" about something, and that you're determined to convince everyone of these "facts", while at the same time you held your mother up as some sort of example of the ultimate unbiased observer because she's only getting her information as the jurors get it. :confused3 As I said, as far as Kronk, I'll watch what the defense says, and the prosecution, and see what pans out. :confused3 And this is hardly a Kronk fan club here, so no one is going to bat for him. NO ONE really knows what his role, or the defense's version of his role, is in this whole thing. Lots of speculations and scenarios, but really not much to go on. We can probably all agree that he's a little weird, as are some of the circumstances surrounding him. But beyond that, we really don't know much.
OMG. I lived my whole life without knowing this picture existed!

*I will not google it* *I will not google it*
Aw, go ahead! Google it! No one will know. ;) ;) ;)

OK, I don't really know what that all means, but it sounds fascinating! Are you in MA? RI? CT?

:lmao: FODT! A new phobia! I actually have something of my own duct tape obsession...I carry travel duct tape with me always, in my handbag. For Christmas, I got everyone some for their stockings. :rolleyes1

I'm not going to bat for anyone. Just pointing out inconsistencies and flawed logic.

Irish - you guys rock!

Yeah we worked our butts off on that report--Lots of trolling thru Floridas public records.

The only money Kronk made came from the rewards was $5,000 from Nejame (awesome guy btw) and 6 months after the discovery he got $5,000 from the Crimeline. But the second $5,000 wasn't supposed to happen which is why Nejame gave him the first $5,000.

SNIPPED

None of the above!! I'm originally from Mass but now go wherever the Army sends us!

It was amazing working with the girls! I couldn't believe the amount of fraud we were able to uncover. We also did work on Dennis Milstead who with his wife runs Kidfinders. They were a scary bunch! They were who G&C hooked up with a little later on.
