So there's this Mark Eiglarsh, a criminal defense attorney, on Dr Drew (I've never seen this show before...) and Dr Drew asked Eiglarsh if he would be advising her to make eye contact with the jurors, and he responded: "I would advise her like I do all of my clients...that this is theater, they're always studying the actors. They're looking at every move that you're making, like America is. So continue to look like you are involved in this case, don't start to daydream, take notes when appropriate, feel emotion, gently shake your head if you don't agree with something."
I said this before and I'll say it again...part of the defense's reason for sitting directly across from the jury is so that they can see all that, and the sweet young emotionally damaged "child" that they want them to believe Casey is.
Oh wow. I just read up a bit on Projo.com. I know, we don't normally have to deal with much beyond snow. I always felt a little cocky about how "safe" it is, weather-wise, around here relative to other places. We had 2 pass through our town. 4 dead in state...hoping no more. 19 towns with damage. On the ground from Springfield to Oxford. FAR!
They are thinking there were 3-5 on the ground. They'll know more in next couple days.
No damage here. Tree in backyard struck my lightning. It set off building alarms so we had to be outside for 45 minutes....while another storm rolled in. Fire Dept from other towns had to respond. Ours too busy.
Then I finally got back into the house.....I had a live mouse in the kitchen. ROFL. I think the cats heading to the basement sent the mouse upstairs. So...then I had to get neighbor over to help corner & catch the mouse.
Then another storm rolled in.
All from like 5pm to 9:30pm. I'm beat.
Some towns with A LOT of damage. Trailer truck & cars rolled over. Houses collapsed. Honestly amazing damage for MA. Looks like Oklahoma. We don't get this here!
Turn on NECN. They are still covering. Lots more pics as daylight comes tomorrow.
I really wish I had kept a list on this thread of Baez-isms. He is such a doofus.Awesome. "Did you ever ask Casey if she ever committed suicide?"![]()
It's really that long.Did she have hair extensions in today or has her hair / pony tail really grown that long? I hadn't noticed it THAT long the past days.
And it seemed like she actually thought she could pull it off. She took those cops on a wild goose chase more than once.
The one time when she was taking them to the apartment where the nanny supposedly lived, and then they get there and it's a vacant apartment, as another poster said.
And then leading them to Universal, and walking them to her office, that was not there.
She must have thought they were not very bright. It's just weird to think she thought that she could actually pull it off.
If they are using this angle to try to show that Casey lies, and if it's not true, then that's a really sick and twisted story for the defense to come up with.
I think the Nanny kidnapped Caylee and killed her. Because on that Cassie had to try so hard to get to her daughter. So that morning she drooped off her daughter was the last time she was seen alive

I wonder if the prosecution realizes this
OMG,My husband hasn't been following the trial very closely so I was giving him the recap tonight. When I got done, he wanted to sum it up to make sure he understood everything.
This is what he said:
Casey had imaginary friends and an imaginary nanny. For months, she concocted a story that the imaginary nanny kidnapped Caylee. It all turned out to be a lie. Caylee actually drowned in the pool and Casey and George ran around duct taping everything to cover up the drowning. Casey lied about the nanny because her dad sexually abused her and Cindy is to blame because Casey started her period at 10 and her mom didn't take her to a gynecologist.![]()

If that's just a coincidence, that's freaky.
I don't know or have much connection with many Hispanics, but are the names Gonzalez and Zeinada really common? Or pretty unique?
If unique, that's just too much of a coincidence. She didn't just pull that name out of a hat if she rapidly hid a dead baby. That sounds planned & thought out.
The apartment she took the police to had been vacant for months.
.
OK, that's creepy. Queue Twilight Zone theme now.check out this article http://scaredmonkeys.com/2009/01/10...anthonys-location-and-not-just-a-nannys-name/
