Hey another possible father has arrived! This one is in federal prison in South Carolina on heroin charges! Sounds feasible to me! I think this could be the one! LOL

A man incarcerated at a federal prison in South Carolina has filed legal papers in Orange Circuit Court to determine if he is Caylee Marie Anthony's father.

The self-filed DNA/paternity suit comes from Christopher Lee Umberger, who listed his federal inmate number and address as Williamsburg Corrections in Salters, S.C.

The claims says he "seeks DNA for the use in proving paternity with reference to Caylee Marie Anthony…That DNA is needed to confirm who the father of Caylee Marie Anthony is."

The petition also states "that Casey Anthony, the mother, harmed or otherwise led to the death of Caylee Marie Anthony and a suit to hold Casey Anthony liable for such action is to be brought."

The filing goes on to say Casey Anthony can be held liable for court fees and attorney costs.

In a handwritten note to the Orange County Clerk of Court's office, Umberger described himself as a "pauper" with "no funds to pay filing fees."

He asked that Casey Anthony be served immediately because after her release from the Orange County Jail, expected on Sunday, "serving Casey Anthony may become very hard."

The federal Bureau of Prisons website indicates Umberger is 49 and set to be released in September 2012 from the Federal Correctional Institution Williamsburg. He originally pleaded guilty to a federal heroin distribution charge, was incarcerated and then placed on supervised release, but he violated terms of his release last year, according to federal court records

Casey Anthony, 25, was found not guilty earlier this month of the most serious charges filed against her, including the first-degree murder of 2-year-old Caylee Marie. She was found guilty of four counts of lying to law enforcement.

This isn't anything new. There are a large number of criminals who gain large cult followings. In addition a lot of religious people will send money to help criminals get back on their feet. I wouldn't be surprised if a couple of those people are Constitution-supporters.

Well, breaking news... Apparently Casey Anthony is appealing her 4 guilty verdicts for lying..... I guess this is how she will protect herself from having to take part in the depo and plead the 5th.. She and her lawyers helped delay her original trial and now they will delay this case. Enough for her to run out of town. Lovely.

CM should have kept his mouth shut about the money because I hope that helps the state of Florida tells her NO to the motion of indigency for the appeal.

Heard a snippet of an interview with Dorothy Sims. She was asked if she would take Casey in for a short period of time if she needed a place to live. Sims said she would. What struck me as odd was her following comment (not a direct quote):

I took this case because I really believed in Casey and I believed what she was saying was accurate versus what was being portrayed in the media.


Question:
How long has Dorothy Sims been Casey's attorney? Did she only come on board 6 weeks before the trial started? It is my understanding that is when Casey went with the accidental drowning/sexual abuse story.

If Sims had been her attorney before that (and I believe she was) since she claims to have believed her story, does that mean she believed there was a nanny running around with Caylee?

Or did Casey come up with the drowning/abuse story long ago, the defense knew about it, but didn't bother sharing that info with the detectives who were still spending money and time investigating the case?

But seriously, poor George. I just watched some of the jailhouse tapes on NG. I had seen bits and pieces of them before, but not to such length. In the tape of George and CA, I saw George as a man who dearly loved his daughter and granddaughter and who was trying desperately to find Caylee, while at the same time trying to be upbeat and positive with his daughter who was in jail.

And don't get me started on that self-important foreman. I think I wrote half a page yesterday on what a genius he is!

But but but jury #3 said he was shifty and unattached in those tapes She convicted him based on them. How did the State get things so wrong

I just read on WFTV that Casey was "too exhausted" to handle a desposition right now. Are you serious??!!!! Exhausted from telling so many lies and sitting in a jail cell doing nothing all day?!! That enfuriated me when I read that - this poor Zenaida Gonzalez will never get that desposition and get nothing from Casey Anthony except grief!!!

I have been following this from the time Caylee was discovered missing and watched the trial from Day 1 and have never been so disappointed in my entire life. I have been to court before (once when my landlord evicted us right after my late husband had a heart attack & my youngest was just born just so he could tear down the house we were living in to put in a parking lot and we had discussed purchasing it from him. He "gave away" our brand new appliances and kitchen cupboards to his dental assistants after we tried to come back to get the rest of our property, and we went to court to get damages and the judge laughed at us saying "too bad!" and we lost the case.) The next was when I reported my boss to Bureau of Labor for sexual harrasment and lost the case when my attorney walked out on the case before the settlement was reached. So needless to say, I have little faith in the courts but I had hoped a new judge could demand the desposition be taken before Casey was released.
