I just heard Ann Finnel's comments. I think what they are doing is even worse than backpedaling.

What I'm hearing is that their story is that George was carrying Caylee, yelled at Casey and walked away. After that, Casey has no idea what happened So basically, Casey is a completely innocent victim and unless George talks, no one will ever know.

I know there are a lot of people that are curious to see this video and I guess I get it, but truthfully, Im not that interested. I know she's guilty and this tape won't really add to my conviction. It is what it is.. watching her hyperventilate won't change a thing for me.

I think, in that instance, while IMHO proof, it would count as incriminating herself. But I could be wrong.



On the topic of Baez's twisted version of events--if it were shown that he admits to lying in his open (or evidence of his contradicting statements shows that he lied), would he face any sanctions by the Florida Bar?

George can't sue him--so is there anyway that Baez could be held accountable to what he stated?

I think he is using it in the context of how people "lose" loved ones when they pass on.

Therapy only works on those who WANT to be helped.

It doesn't work on those who pretend.

She will just lie her way through it.

Therapy only works when one is honest. So he can get her therapy for "grief". Then be shocked and later blame others when she goes about her crazy ways. Blame the public for not giving her a "second chance".

In Casey's world, it is not about personal accountability, but how it is someone else's fault.

So Casey has a melt down before the remains are identified because she knows that those remains are Caylee. Showing the jury the video would have given them the impression that she absolutely knew where Caylee was and the court felt she wouldn't get a fair trial. They forgot to factor in one little detail. The jury was made up of a bunch of incompetent morons and the video wouldn't have swayed them one little bit.

From what I understand when the tape was first brought up the DT stated it wouldn't be fair to show KC reacting to "a childs" remains being found. As if hypothetically it would have been the same reaction if she saw a different video every day of the week.

Unfortunately the judge bought this hook, line, and sinker and would have been a correct judgment in my opinion if there had not been statements made of the other time she saw the news about the remains being found in Blanchard Park and had Zero reaction. Maybe there isnt a video of that and its only hearsay, but I wish the prosecution had pushed for this video more since JP was a different judge than the one that sealed the video... if they could.

i think baez was as shocked as everyone else who thought they would come back with guilty one one of the first 2 charges.

all those times he tried in vein for a mistrial. how many of us NOW wish JP granted it.

besides i agree - unless the video tape actually showed KC killing her then it wouldn't have mattered - they weren't interested.

and their so called "sick to our stomach's" is a load of bull crap.

they made the choice - stand up for what you did. have faith in it or you shouldn't have dont it in the first places.

if you can't live with it now - don't look for sympathy from ANYONE. live with your choice and move on knowing you let a killer of a child go free. i don't give a rats ... if they are now sorry and i really hope Cruise Boy is having a great trip.

It was the prior judge who sealed it. Yes she reacted before they knew who it was. I wonder if they taped the issue of finding bones in Blanchard park?

It wouldn't have mattered.

She would have just said that is where her dad put Caylee.

It would have been twisted to the advantage of the defense by whatever lie Case could come up with to respond to the video.

Just a tweak of the open and it would have been a non-factor.
