Casey Anthony NOT GUILTY & Sentencing Thread 6

OK - just heard a clip from Ann Finnell. She she said:

"We all very much believed her [Casey] version of the events and still do."

Then Finnell said that she doesn't think that Casey knew what happened.

So ... if Casey doesn't know what happened, then how can you believe her version of the events? How the $%$! does that even make sense?!?!

Drinking the Casey Kool-Aid much, Ann?

And how, ethically and morally. accuse people of being morally corrupt , incest and child sexual molestation without any proof and being completely positive!

Sound like there is a lot of backpedaling going on now of the part of jurors and defense team.

No one is on trial anymore. poster brought up NG and I responded.

The jury may not have known the amount of outrage their verdict would bring because they were sequestered. I'm willing to bet it took about 5 seconds after they were not sequestered any more. All they had to do was see the crazies when they left the courthouse.

Nancy Grace was involved with this story almost from the beginning and brought national attention to the case. There were other news stories before hers but she gave it nightly attention.

According to Juror #3 they were sick to their stomachs and crying before they were ever released from being sequestered. . .so that really doesn't fly.

How much goobldigook is this DT going to dribble??

Oh, where is veritaserum (Harry Potter reference) when you REALLY need it!?!?!?

:wizard:

I thought there was something fishy about Juror #12's husband.. or maybe it was the reporting of it that was odd. Who has a constant Blood pressure monitor going? and love the touch of "next to the bible" on the table. :rotfl2:

Oh yeah, because no one who owns a Bible is anything short of moral, honest, and an outstanding citizen. Remember, Casey had a Bible in her cell.

The reason the jurors were sick to their stomachs after coming up with the verdict was because they KNEW that their verdict was going to be an extremely unpopular one per one of the alternate jurors. (ETA - maybe it was juror #3 who said that)

Now the spouse of a juror gets interviewed/paid. Jeesh...

Looks like the makings of a book to me.....

"If Cindy Anthony gets permanent disability....why can't I?"

"I left my husband to party with Casey Anthony at the Hard Rock"

"Leaving Swampy Florida for Bella Vita and Pure Michigan"

Lisa Bloom writes about how tabloids dumb us down. I am going to blame them! I thought JB sounded like a tabloid article in his opening statement. Sensational and unfounded! That stuff sells.

That's quite a generalization. Really, you think all those people outside the courthouse were "crazies"?

While I might not choose to wait outside the courthouse for a verdict, I feel the same anger and outrage that those people were/are probably feeling. Nothing wrong with them being there and expressing their feelings, as long as they were doing it peacefully.

Yep, it's frustrating. Apparently the "drowning" story they told at trial isn't good enough now, because it means Casey was aware that Caylee was dead and didn't report it. That makes her at least a tiny bit responsible, and we can't have that :rolleyes1

The new spin....um, I mean story...has to remove Casey from all responsibility. I'm guessing this is in preparation for any interviews Casey gives. They are rebuilding her image. Let me guess, George and Lee drowned Caylee and then framed Casey? Casey was a victim too, poor thing.

Also, I bet this will be Casey's defense against the States request for reimbursement of search\investigation funds. She will just claim she knew nothing at all.

I have no doubt that at least 12 people will believe her. :headache:

I don't know how, other than the 12 jurors, anyone is going to buy this, b/c Casey PRETENDED she was with Caylee to various people for the 31 days, or said she was with Zanny. So how did she not know she was gone. Let's see....not with me, check. Not with George and Cindy, check. Zanny is imaginary, check.

Unless it's all George now, and they'll go with that. Too bad that Vasco guy didn't work out. That would have been really handy.

I am sure KC needs cover for the State's attempt to recoup. Perhaps a few more imagicriminals will come out. Columbian drug lords, right?

Occam's Razor is obviously a concept this jury is not familiar with.

I want to see that video tape of KC when remains were found on Suburban Dr.

This is one part of the whole thing that has really gotten to me. The fact that she DID pretend she was with Caylee when she KNEW she wasnt. And then on top of that, all the crap that she did during those 31 days...party, party, party.

Even if she thought that Caylee wasn't dead, just the fact that Caylee was NOT with her and she didn't know where she was during that time period. What a sick and twisted person she is.

WOuldnt surprise me none if Casey says I don't know what happened , it was all Baez's idea about the drowning not mine:rolleyes1

doesn't this just warm your heart.

The day after Casey Anthony's verdict was read in the courtroom, the money started rolling in.

Jail records show just as the trial was wrapping up, people who presumably don't know Casey were sending her money in jail.

Three checks-- from Iowa, Pennsylvania and even Canada-- were deposited in Casey's jail account on Wednesday. In all, the checks amounted to $40.

She's allowed to use the money for commissary purchases for things like nacho dip, Skittles and tortillas, all things Casey bought on her most recent jailhouse purchase.

Wow -- her attorneys celebrated with champagne and she celebrated with junk food. Living high on the hog there, Casey!

I have seen comments from people that the prosecution did not prove cause of death. The famous juror said they didn't know how Caylee died, so couldn't convict.

I am glad to see more discussion of this on TV, etc. The jury obviously did not understand the law and many other people don't either. It is too bad the jury did not understand.

superb liars are obviously easier to defend.

Juries should be given more explanation and simpler instruction about what is required to find guilt.

I just heard Ann Finnel's comments. I think what they are doing is even worse than backpedaling.

What I'm hearing is that their story is that George was carrying Caylee, yelled at Casey and walked away. After that, Casey has no idea what happened So basically, Casey is a completely innocent victim and unless George talks, no one will ever know.

Im gobsmacked!
