Quiet works for us too!

Can someone tell me if you can get a king water view room? I'm thinking of upgrading to water view (I'm against 'views' in moderates but the point of being on the interior of the resort makes sense...

Personally I'd suggest you request a corner room instead of paying for the upgrade. I requested, and received, one in September and it was about 3 seconds further of a walk versus a water view room. You just walk out your door and around that corner and you're where the water views are anyway, and it saves you from paying that extra money.

We are dropping are universal portion of our trip do to my dd height.:sad2: But anyway we want to add the 4 nights at Disney. CBR is the cheapest for our stay. What I'm concerned about is there a lot of chairs around the main pool? As we plan to use the pool a lot the first 4 days before our FD package starts. Have you ever had a hard time finding a chair. There is 4 of us but we try to only use 2 chairs. As my kids have no desire to sit and sun themselves.

I think it's an issue at all resorts, and CBR is no different. We've had difficulty at times finding a chair/lounge around the pool. It's like most hotels and cruise ships - too many people throw their stuff on a bunch of chairs, even though they don't really use them. They definitely could use more chairs and lounges around the pool...however, there really is no room. That is at the main pool. It's never an issue at the quiet pools.

Thanks for posting this, we leave tomorrow night and I didn't get this. I guess because we booked through orbitz.

You probably have to call or email Disney to request it. I don't believe they just send it to everyone in advanvce of their trip. We didn't get it for our trip last month.

It will be included in your packet you receive at check in.

Thanks for adding that the information will be in the packet at check in, that is very helpful information. I was wondering if you or anyone else knows whether they continue to do movies under the stars all year? We will be there in September :cheer2: and would really enjoy doing that with our kids. According to the May recreational calendar it appears that they show a movie every night. Does anyone know if there will be movies each night in September or just a few nights? Thanks in advance.

It happens every night, year round!! During the winter months, the campfire and movie are earlier in the night, but they definitely happen daily (weather permitting).

It has never been a issue for us at pop at the main pool. Neither at CSR. We went on a Disney cruise last year and it was like:crowded: at the pool. So I was just wondering about CBR.
Thanks

Jamaica 41 is the building they will offer guests who check in early and want a room right away. Two weeks ago that is the building we were given and we checked in at 10:30 am. Ground floor too! The CM said they almost always have rooms in that building for those that want one early because it isn't close to anything (the bus stop, the pool, the bridge to OPR.....) but we found it very quiet and peaceful. The CM gave us the option to refuse it if we wanted to.

We did online check in but the CM did talk to us and asked us if we had questions about about package and the resort.

We checked in Friday at 7:15 AM ang got Jamaica 43 first floor, and a corner room. The pool is literally around the corner from us which is great. We has a standard room booked and had preference for 1st floor Jamaica on our online check-in, so was very pleased.

Today is our 180 day mark for ADR's. Tried to start them online this am at 6am, as some people had suggested, but it appears I can't booked yet. I will keep trying. Maybe it is 7am, even online booking?!? Anyone know?

Now it's saying "system error" when I try online. I love disney but their communication technigy needs updated. First on hold for 2hrs and 50 min to make my initial reservation. Now I can't make my dining reservations.. Very frustrating :confused3

I have stayed at CBR two times prior (Jamaica and Trinidad South). We are planning a visit again in August. This time we have an infant with us and would like to be close to the food and main pool area. I was looking at a lake/pool view or preferred room. Can someone help me figure out which would be best? Are preferred rooms noisy because they are closer to the action? I'm guessing pool view would be the quiet pools. Is it nice to have the quiet pool so close? Is it really "quiet"? It's only a difference of less than $20 a night between the two categories. What would you go with? Any thoughts? Thanks!

Lake / Pool View can be in any village. Preferred rooms are located only in Trinidad North and the half of Martinique closest to Old Port Royale.

I hope you have it worked out by now. But nothing worked for me until I logged out and back in.

I hope you got what you wanted.

Quick, quick question; we're an hour away from wdw. Do I have to show our magic bands when we checkin? I need to dig them out of bottom suitcase.

Not that I'm aware of.... You just need to tell the person at the gate that you are there to check in... May ask for your ID... Have a wonderful magical trip!

When I checked in last Friday I left them in our van and the person asked if I had them. I told her I did and she said just making sure and if I had already setup a PIN for charging, which I had.
