Thanks guys! I guess an 8am flight time would be a bit out of the question then with a 5 and 2 yo! Especially after the HS MH!

Now....how long after you land at MCO does it take to get to the CBR (typically)??

With Magical Express...approx one hour - give or take a few minutes. Couls depend on if your bus stops at other resorts first. However, I believe CBR is usually the first stop among the Epcot area resorts.

"Quiet" pools are open 24/7.

The main pool used to be open 24/7 also, once upon a time (I miss that - nothing like sitting in the hot tub after a long day at the parks). Now it closes every night. The time will vary depending on the season. Not sure about September, however my guess would be that it will close either 9 or 10pm.

I just realized I thought all the rooms were the same color on the inside (barring the Pirate rooms of course) - is that the case or are room walls in Jamaica yellow, blue in Aruba, etc?

Hi My boys are doing the Islands of the Caribbean Pirate Cruise and we are supposed to pick them up at 11:30. Do you think we'll be able make a 12:30 T-Rex lunch reservation at DTD? Thanks!

I would drive or take a cab. the buses to DTD are notoriously slow. one of the reasons is it takes the long route. DTD is right down the street from CBR, but the bus turns left at Bonnet creek drive, then right on vacation club way, and then 2 more rights. I have no idea why (I guess to avoid a left turn into DTD?)

the 2nd stpo at DTD (by planet hollywood ) will be closer to trex than the first

I saw on the menu for the quick service at Old Port Royale that they have the large pizzas. Does anyone know if these can be purchased using 2 credits (for delivery I read somewhere it takes 2 table service credits - so I thought/hoped that maybe the counter service would be similar credit wise.

We had a great trip to CBR last week. At first I was disappointed we got Barbados instead of requested Jamaica but we were so close to the bus stop
That we ended up loving it. Also we watched Epcot
Fireworks a couple of nights. The pools were lovely and it was so peaceful. We enjoyed most everything and we maybe were just Lucky but the bus service was the best we had at any resort ever. Never more than a 10 min wait. One more thing, don't miss the monkey cupcakes! We fell in love with them!!

Great to hear! Were you near the quiet pool in Barbados? How was the walk to Main pool?
I don't mind a stroll - and if it's a beautiful setting all the better...

We've watched them from the bridge, the Martinique beach and the beach by the feature pool.

We are rope drop people and have never had an issue getting there on time in the AMs. And we've been there during Free Dining and the resort is at capacity. The size of the resort and the buses are 2 things that are so blown out of proportion it boggles the mind sometimes.

Actually, on our trip last weekend we were the last stop out of 4. I'm not sure if they change the order randomly maybe depending on how many people are getting off where maybe? We were the only people for CBR.
