car rental upgrade

can you upgrade at the counter for a car you booked on priceline with name your own price? AFTER I had booked our car, DH asked if we could get a larger one. Figures!

Upgrades, insurance, GPS, etc are all handled directly with the rental agency. That said, usually Priceline and Hotwire customers are on the low list of upgrades and are charged higher upgrade premiums then direct customers.
