Captain Hook - is he in the parks?

I didn't know where to post this, so have posted it on the theme parks, family, and this board. I hope someone can help.

I don't know if Captain Hook and Peter Pan are anywhere to be seen in the parks, but if so, where would I find them?

I am sure this posting will be moved. C Hook is my favorite too. The easiest place to find him is at Pirates of the Caribean (shmee is there too). Pan is tougher. I have sen him only at the MK at the park entrance and only once. They should have a Peter Pan character lunch!

I believe I have seen Hook, Pan and Shmee in the back garden of the Great Britain area in World Showcase.

The only place I've seen him is at the PotC ride. Try checking at the main gate when you arrive and plan on getting in line early. Peter Pan and Cptn Hook usually create quite a stir.

Thank you soooo much! My DS 3 just loves both Captain and Peter and I really want to try to find them on our next trip because it'll be a yr. or 2 before we go again. Thanks!

we found them at the show on the stage at cindy's castle in mk... i believe peter pan stayed around to visit/sign autographs, but hook did not...
good luck!

also, there is a character hotline you can ask any cm to call for you (best if you have your hotel front desk call) to ask where a certain character can be found that day or the next day... if there's a "must see" it's the best way to find him/her!

DW and I saw Hook and Pan on our last trip. We were at Epcot early one day, just as the World Showcase was opening and a triple decker bus loaded with characters came along and parked in the viewing area right in the center as if you came across the walkway and just keep walking.

All the characters got off the bus and took positions for autographs and pictures. I remember seeing Hook and Pan there. I think they do this daily, at least we saw the bus more than one morning during that trip.

I have seen him in Adventureland at the MK, near the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. He's always fun!

In May, we saw Captain Hook, Smee, Wendy and Peter Pan near the exit for Pirates in Adventureland. All were signing autographs and you would have pictures taken with 2 of the characters at a time. I *think* it may have been at a point where they were getting ready to switch places, since right after we got our pictures, Wendy & Pan left, but the Capt & Smee stayed.

We've also seen Hook a few times near Pirates of the Carribean. I think they post the times on those little sheets you pick up at the front of the park.

Also, If your son is a big Pan fan, I would strongly urge you to check out the Family Magic Tour. No promises on what's gonna happen, but in our case it involved Pan. My son even rode the Peter Pan ride with him... Talk about magic!

We were at MK June 18th this year and he, along with Mr Smee, Robin Hood,Friar Tuck, Prince John, and Daisy were all up right at the beginning of Main St. We came back from the Tea Party at the GF and got to see all of them.

I have seen him in the courtyard at MGM, just in front of the Brown Derby/Great Movie Ride area.

We saw him in the MK and it is a moment I won't forget! We were heading from Fantasyland towards Cinderella's Castle for breakfast. Suddenly Captain Hook came BOUNDING out from under the castle. He was sort of running or leaping and looked BIG and was coming at us fast! My 2 year old DD was very scared and spent almost half an hour crying inside the downstairs waiting area for Cindy's breakfast. Fortunately they were running a bit behind schedule and we were called to our table late. By that time she had calmed down. Once she saw the princesses all was right with the world again!


Edited to add: We leave for Disney on Friday afternoon!!! I'll say "Hi" to Hook if I see him. But I'll cover DD's eyes beforehand LOL!

Captain Hook (and Mr. Smee) was our very first character ever encountered -- what a hoot!!!! He kept smacking my little girl's balloon. He posed wonderfully as well--I'd love to be his cabin boy

This was the last day of September 2003 right in front of the MK Castle on the way to Frontierland-- hmmmm, around 2 pm on a Tuesday (I remember all this from my scrapbook ) We saw him my very first day at the parks.

The Queen of Hearts can be seen in my photo's background; wish we could have caught her too.

I spend lots of time walking around and passed the Pirates area many times: sometimes they had Hook and Pan there, sometimes they had Hook and Smee and once it was just Peter by himself. They seem to have characters there most of the day.
