Captain EO info

boo! I'm really disappointed to miss an attraction I was looking forward to, so disney can promote an upcoming film. I really wish they could find another way to show the Tomorrowland preview--there's soooo much empty space in Epcot and other parks (hello, half of HS!).

But if there are permanent plans for expansion at Hollywood Studios, why would they want to put something into a building they need to have closed to make that expansion happen?

Perhaps you're right. The heart of the issue, to my mind anyways, is that it's unfair to temporarily suspend a park attraction to promote an upcoming film. If Disney wants to offer advance/extended previews of a movie, great, but it shouldn't be at the expense of existing attractions, particularly with such short notice (in the grand scheme of WDW trip planning time, anyways). And the absurdity is emphasized, to me, when you consider how many things have closed/are closing, especially in HS and Epcot over the last 2 years. There's space somewhere else the film preview could be shown, that's all I was trying to say.
