HELLO FRIENDS!!! It has been a while since I have updated...mostly because there just wasn't much to update. 
While there STILL isn't much going on, I thought I should probably jump over here a ramble about a thing or two, just because. 
Last Thursday night we went to the local high school to see the Little Mermaid. While we were VERY excited to see it....it was a disappointment. Honestly, Jillian's JR. High play was better put together than this one. It was the Disney version of the story, the play and advertisement for it were trademarked Disney, the costumes were PHENOMENAL....but the acting and singing were HORRENDOUS! The sound effects were screwed up repeatedly and the down time between scenes were longer than the scenes themselves. It was just sad. I understand that it takes a few performances to work out the glitches, etc...but we went to the THIRD performance.
The worst part, for us, was that my niece was in it. She has been in the Spring production every year and this year she is a senior...her last production.She was so sad because ALL of the lead roles went to underclasssmen and NONE went to Seniors. That is just WRONG. Anyhow, she ended up as a dancer in only three scenes. Here is the one picture we got with her after the show:
Now on to some news regarding our trip in October...
You all know we have been waiting for Brian's bonus from work to make decisions regarding the trip. Well, today is bonus day...and it was not a good one.
We have officially declared a FL vacation with no Disney days. I am WAY over it and had already prepared myself for the news. We will have a great FL vacation and will have another Disney vacation in October 2014...HOWEVER, I will NOT start a PTR for that one until it is actually booked!!!
So, I was again left with the decision to let this PTR go or keep it going. I have decided to keep it going, and to use it as a TR after our October FL vacation. We have some fun stuff planned with Cheekypoppins for that trip that I will report on. I just do not want to do a full TR.
I will continue to update our movie nights and any other random stuff that comes up. Summer is on the way and with that there will be trips to the zoo, family reunion trips to the lake in Illinois, a trip to my Mom and Dad's house for Memorial Day weekend...so plenty of fun stuff still left to report!
There you have it. No tears or disappointment this time. I am so glad we get a wonderful Florida vacation with my parents, and I am BEYOND excited to meet Cheeky!!

I was really rooting for it to be huge. But at least you will have some time with Cheeky! I'm still sad though that we will miss each other by one day. 
Just let me know when you head back Nashville way!
