Your plans sound great! I know what you mean about wanting to give each park it's proper time! I'm struggling with our Feb 2014 plans because my cousins wedding is going to take up a whole day. I think I've got Mom convinced that we need to add an extra day to our trip!

ETA: I see I'm behind the game. That's what I get for posting before reading the whole thread. Darn conference today getting in the way of my DIS time!

Just thought I would pop in for some random rambling... We went to visit my folks this past weekend in Mississippi. Memorial Day weekend is our weekend to visit each year. They come here to visit multiple times a year since my brother and his family live here too, so we don't have to go down there as often. We had a great weekend, but like a bad Diser, I took NO pictures. We basically spent the weekend in the pool and hot tub. Mom and I got pedicures on Saturday too. It was a relaxing weekend, and we needed it.

When we got into town Monday night Brian had a burr in his bottom to go to the mattress store right away to buy new mattresses for our bed. We are horrible, we have had the same mattresses since we got marrried...almost 17 years ago. Brian has been saying for over a year that we needed new ones, but the money just hasn't been there. So this weekend while visiting my folks they had just gotten new mattresses and were singing high praises for the memory foam mattresses. It didn't take much to convince Brian that we had to do it NOW...so that is what we did. We made our purchase Monday evening. Delivery was scheduled for last night between 5:30 and 8 pm...

8 pm came and went with no delivery, no call...

8:30 pm came and went with no delivery and no call...

9 pm came and went with no delivery, no phone call...

At this point I was getting very tired and very irratated. I had had a really rough work day and I just wanted to lay in bed and read from my Kindle, I couldn't do this because our old bed was all stripped and ready to be hauled off.

9:30 pm came and went with no delivery and no phone call...

I told Brian I was going to put all the sheets and blankets back on our bed and crawl in...I was DONE!

As soon as I got all the sheets and blankets put out, brushed my teeth, layed down and grabbed my Kindle...the phone rings...at 10:15 pm! They were on their way with the mattresses!

So yeah, I had to get up at 10:15, strip the bed again and wait.... and wait...until they finally showed up with our mattresses...

at 11 pm!!!!

They told Brian they still had SEVEN deliveries to make that night. I feel so sorry for the poor souls who were getting phone calls at midnight that the delivery truck was on its way....

This Friday night my Jillybean will graduate from 8th grade. My parents are coming up for her graduation on Friday night, then on Saturday night my niece graduates from HS. Gonna be a busy weekend for sure.

So two things have transpired today that have made me Happy, Happy, Happy! (anyone know what I am referencing there? )

I found out about a Lowe's Build and Grow clinic for the kids to build a Monster's University chest...for FREE!!!! I will be out of town for a little "girls weekend" with a friend from high school, but I signed Charity and Gabe up for it. Brian is excited to be able to take them. The other good news I got today should have been bad news. We had some relatives who were supposed to come for an overnight visit on July 6th. They have decided to postpone the trip, so they will not make it. Why is this good news to me? Because now I will get to go to a VERY BIG Nashville Dismeet on July 6th at Opry Mills!!! Do any of you know who MeMom is on the Disboards? She has arranged a Dismeet at the Opry Mills Rainforest Cafe and there are a LOT of Nashville area Disers going. I was so disappointed to find out I couldn't go...but now I can!!!!

So yeah...my day is made!

Yay for being able to go to the DISmeet! I was excited to see news about that and was actually thinking of driving up for the day/weekend. But alas, I will be on a plane to Pennsylvania that day to visit Mom. I will get back to Nashville to visit someday! Jim mentioned something about a Star Trek convention up there but I think he was joking.
