Very nice ! Now, I know I have work to do with my S2 to get results like that. However, I am really impressed with my pics so far. The S2 is an awesome camera...

I use the Duracell rechargeables for my S2Is. I got the ones with the 15min charger. I usually carry 2 extra sets with me just to be on the safe side. We just got back and never had the set in the camera go dead but I don't use the lcd viewfinder. Hope this helps!!

LOL! I hear ya Greg! My XT is only 2 days old (and I do love it), but that's such a great deal I actually thought hmmmm, wouldn't hurt to upgrade my P&S... ...must stop reading these boards, must stop reading these boards...

I was buying some office supplies at Staples today in Manhattan, and they have the S2 on clearance for $329.

I presume you will find it at other Staples for the same price...?

Marcie ran out of memory at the race last weekend. At the price of memory these days why not get a 2 gig card and she will never need more. Her cam will do video so 2 gig is not too big anymore. But I can not find any information on whether the S2 will support larger cards.

Alright all you Canon fanatics, you talked me into the S2 IS. I LOVE it. What a cool camera. I got some cool pics at a soccer game and some really neat ones at the zoo!

Now, a question. How to you tote your camera when you don't want it hanging from your neck? We're heading to the world in late august. When I'm trying hard not to melt, I find I get cranky when things hang from me, so I generally use a small fanny pack. Sometimes a backpack. But I'm worried if I drop the camera in one, I risk the lens cap popping off. What do you all use? Some parameters... it's just me and my dd, so basically I have to carry everything except for the little she carries (wallet. Anything else eventually ends up on me!). No handing it off to someone else. Although I do have to fight my dd9 off from using it!
