I got our PS and ressies for the candlelight processional in Dec., I gave them my credit card number and got my conformation #, too, but my credit card has not been charged-- will it not be charged until I pick up my tickets at our hotel or what??? Should I just call and check this out or do some of you know?

I began a thread about this on last weekend and another showed up a few days ago...

I called WDW Dining to make sure my package was booked properly b/c I booked on 9/2 and was told that my CC would be charged THAT day. The CM that I spoke with was great! She assured me the reservation was in the system, but because of upgrades, many guests had not been charged yet. She processed my CC right then and we made sure the transaction went through. I checked my online statement after about 5 mins. and the charge had been posted.

If you are really worried, just call, but I don't think you should just yet. (I'm a newbie, so I sorta freaked, but hey... )

It's too soon to worry.

For the past few years, Disney has taken a while to actually process the credit cards charges for the first several weeks of CP bookings. (I think it is because there are so many when the reservation window first opens).

I'm sure you will see the charge to your card all too soon. :)

Just give it more time. My card hasn't been charged yet, either.

Best wishes -

Thanks for reassuring me! I'll wait a while and if nothing happens, then I'll call. What would I do without the DIS?

And just a note...last year my cc showed it as charged by CRO or WDTC...so if you get a charge that looks like a room deposit...it is probably your CP fee...

I made my reservation on Tuesday and I noticed today that it has been charged to my card. It showed up as WDW Dining.

I just thought I would mention this! DH called yesterday to ask about payment of our CP package, which was booked on Sept. 2nd. The CM told him that they didn't cancel the PS unless they didn't have payment in full before your 48 hrs. cancellation window. She made it sound like, if your money wasn't there or something, that they wouldn't cancel it anyway until 48 hrs. before. That didn't make sense to me, since I too was worried that they hadn't charged us yet, and I thought it was payment in full, at the time that you called, but evidentally not.

If it doesn't show up on your card by the end of the month, I would call. They usually have a backlog of reservations when the packages first come out. Although they wasted no time with mine!

I got concerned also because the charge still has not shown up on our Visa. My DU agent checked and the ressie is in WDW's system. I was assured by the experts we'll be fine and eventually the charge will post to our Visa :D

Mine posted this morning - they're catching up. Somehow I just knew it wasn't going to be free!

Best wishes -

I had this problem last year. I kept calling to make sure it was still in the system, it was.
Before we left I checked my CC statement & it STILL wasn't on there.
I was so nervous something would go wrong with our PS.

Well, we still had our PS & everything was fine. I mentioned to our server about it not being charged before we left & she told me that it probably is now & not to worry about it.

Well.....I checked my CC statements when I got home & it still was not there. It never did show up either!

Hey! I just checked my disney visa acct online and it showed up!!!YEAH!!! and it did show up as WDW Dining! the DIS knows everything!!!

Mine was posted yesterday, and my DU agent booked for me on 9/2.
I was getting worried until I saw other posters with the same "problem". I feel better knowing that the charge is there.

I posted a thread about this last week b/c I was a little worried about no charge showing up. I'm used to them charging immediately for stuff like CRT. :teeth: It still hasn't shown up yet, but after hearing what everyone has to say, I'm not so worried anymore.

Good luck to everyone and enjoy CP!!
