You'll have to pry my park tickets out of my cold, dead (and wet) hands before we cancel this trip!!

I'm in the 12th through the 19th. I will jump in the car and drive 24 hours from Chicago if I have to but I'M GOING TO SEE MICKEY!

We arrive on September 19. I keep close track of the weather and I'll even consider driving from NY instead of flying if it means I can still check in on the 19th!
Dawn
I also DECIDED the same thing, if our flight gets cancelled, I will DRIVE!
This is the time of year when there are one or two storms floating around out there anyway, so this is just par for the course when booking a Florida trip in September. Even if a storm does happen to roll through Disney, it usually is in and out of there in about 24 hours. Obviously Fay was an exception. But as was mentioned, the parks never closed due to Fay.
Enjoy the September discounts!![]()
Leaving the 12th from Central Illinois so we will be hot on your trail......
Safe Driving......![]()

Well, we are now reminded WHY Disney offers free dining. To get folks to come during what is easily the riskiest time to travel to Florida! LOL!
We leave the 11th from Northern IL for the 20 hour drive, there is no chance we will cancel!
