Cancellation policy for golf?

I know this isn't really a park question, but I wasn't sure where to put it. Does anyone know the policy for cancelling a tee time? Like how much is the penalty and how far in advance do you have to do it? It is guaranteed with a credit card, so we don't want to be charged for cancelling within a certain time period.

this is what i found in the birnbaum book: " cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid paying the full fees." hope this helps!
