Can you still use a Fastpass if you missed the time window?

I saw a reference to this question in another thread, but did not see a solid answer. If I grab fastpasses for my crew, then wander around to the other side of the park, can I come back and use them later in the day, even though I missed the time window by hours? Looking for real world experience if possible. Thanks.

I don't know if there is an official answer, but I have done that many times without a problem.

I would imagine that it depends on the crowd levels, and also if the attraction broke down at any point during the day.

One time we were there during Easter week and we missed our FP timeslot for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and were told that we could not enter the FP line.

However, 2 days later when it was just as crowded we missed our FP timeslot for RnRC, but was allowed on because it had gone down for about 30 minutes that day.

However, I have been in off times (early December) when FP was actually not necessary and was allowed in the FP line much later that day with an expired FP.

Yes, from our experience we were able to use FP after the expired time. Often it would work to our benefit to go ahead and get one even if the return time was soon, because then we could FP another ride and come back.

We missed our return time at Star Tours last February and were not allowed to use the FP. Due to a ps snaffo at Sci Fi we missed the window by only about 10 minutes. So if you accidentally miss the window it won't hurt to try and use the expired FP, but I would not recommend using this as a "plan" as you may be turned away.

What TJ said. We've done it a few times, and have never been tunred away. But I wouldn't plan on it. I think the FP-checking CM can decide to take it or not. So give it a try, but don't plan your day around being able to do it.

Thanks all. I will not rely on this as part of my plan, but it is nice to know it may well work if not too crazy! 18 days and counting!
