We are staying at AoA in 2 weeks. We are using ME. My friend's parents who live in Florida want to drive down to see us for a few hours and have lunch. They plan to drive to AoA. Can they park at the resort? Is there a charge? Do they need anything to show at the guard gate? I figured since we are staying there and not using a parking spot, it would be like they were using my spot. Would love to be informed.

There is not a charge. They will be stopped at the guard gate - they should just say they're there for lunch. They will be issued a 3-hour parking pass.

At check in the CM should ask if you need a parking permit(even when you arrive via ME). Tell them yes and give them the details for the car your visitors will be driving. When your guests come to visit have them get the temporary pass at the gate and then put the permanent pass on the dash when they park. That way you won't have to worry about time limits.
