Can this be right?

Okay, my saga. I booked 2 rooms with a % off pin I had, the CM I talked to told me I could start looking for those free dining pins, "as soon as tomorrow" This was on monday. the first comes, I call to add Magic Express and ask about any free dining pins. CM says no. I shrug and go okay. My husband asks me to call back and check his name, get another CM who checks and says "Yes, he has a pin for free dining" I go, good! add that" Free dining ends up being a better deal then the % off. (family of 6, food will be expensive). So, all ends up in the end, I ask about switching to Pop, he says no. oh well I am going to disney, I'll suck it up at sports, my kids won't really care. I say "now that's the quick service right" and he goes "you have the regular dining plan" I am okay, whichever. So now, here's the question. I look at my reservation it says "Magic your way plus dining Plan" all the info is the break down for the regular dining plan. So, did I end up with some random weird pin on my husbands name for regular dining at a value? did he upgrade me without telling me (IE I am paying for the upgrade?) Or will I get there in 80 days and find out it should be quick service (Which is really fine by me). (Oh and to end the saga, that same night, I received the Free Dining Pin in my email. so boooo on the first CM for telling me no.)

Anyone else have any insight on this?

If I were you I would go to the WDW site and price out the vacation with everything you got and see if you are paying for an upgrade from QSDP to DDP.

I always price out various senarios so when I call and the CM gives me a price I know if it is correct or not and it usually is exact or within pennies of the amount I have on paper before me.

time for an update thanks for the advice! My huband and i talked about it, and it didn't jive with us either so we called back this AM. Got the insurance taken off that we didn't want, that took it down 133 dollars (found out that they are supposed to tell you they are adding it, first CM didn't. You have 14 days to cancel it), asked about the dining plan. Sure enough, the CM had upgraded us to the Table Service dining plan. Had her just apply the Free Dining Quick Service pin for us, saves us another 274 dollars. Numbers now add up where we thought it should be. Still a savings of about 1400 dollars when you factor in food for 6 for 9 days So, moral of the story! always call and double check
