I can't figure out how to fix this. My DD is listed twice in MDE. Once at her previous age, one at her current. Our new MB's just came. I'm trying to link her new MB with her ticket, since her ticket is defaulted to her 2nd name in there with her old age, and her old MB. I tried to reassign the ticket to the correct name/age, and it says it's done that, but when I click on tickets and cards, it's still showing no tickets attached to her current name, and that MB. Only the old name/age. Any other solution for this, or will I need to call? Thanks!

**UPDATE**....actually maybe the ticket IS linked to her. Do online orders with e-tickets from Undercovertourist show up under "cards"? With a pic of a green card? I have no idea if those are previous tickets, or current tickets. But when I click on her correct name, and reservations, it shows that she has a ticket, I am just not seeing anything under her correct magic band and name, but maybe I shouldn't be.

Have you tried deleting the account you don't want? If you click "edit", all the way at the bottom there is a delete button.

If you delete the unwanted account, then you should be able to reassign the ticket to the single remaining account without issue. If that doesn't work, then you will probably need to call, but I don't know the number.

By the way, I had this problem with the ages too -- it turned out I had specified her age when I signed her up for MDE, not her birthday. When I changed to her birthday, the age became correct. So another possibility would be to put in her birthday on the "old" account that is linked to the tickets right now -- it should hopefully then show the correct age. Then you could delete the account that is not linked up instead.

I actually tried to delete the whole account, BUT it says I can't since she has magicbands attached to it from previous trips. So wonky!! But I think it's correct, the green cards showing is just throwing me off

Then if the new account truly has nothing linked to it, I would try deleting the account with the "correct" age and then put in the birthday on the other account to adjust the age.

The problem happens when you make the account and they ask how old (for dining etc.) and then you put in a specific age. If you specify the birthday instead, it will always have the correct age ... found this out the hard way.

If the "wrong" one has anything linked to it like a magic band you will have to call disney IT and have them merge the duplicate person to the "real" one. I know this because I am in charge of planning an upcoming vaca with my inlaws and a similar thing happened to them. My father in law and mother in law hadn't linked the mde accounts they had created when my father in law bought tickets online through his MDE account and added their hotel reservation to his account. During one of these 2 steps it created my mother in law within his account as a person which he managed. So when I was linked their accounts I was able to reassign the ticket to her (since they were family members and it was unused) BUT it would not let me add the reservation to her account. It also would not let me delete the duplicate person from within my father in law's account since she was the one it had incorrectly linked the magic band to for their upcoming stay. I had to call Disney IT and it took over an hour to resolve (they merged the profiles so she could manage her own account and make FP at 60 days).
If the current magic band is under the correct profile and the ticket (or you are able to reassign the ticket to the correct profile) you can just ignore the duplicate person-if the magic band is not under the correct profile the only way to rectify (and/or get rid of the duplicate person in your MDE) is to call Disney IT. I was told if there are any outstanding "entitlements" for a person (ie magic bands, tickets) MDE will not allow users to delete.

Like PP said you will need to call IT and they will merge the 2. This happened to us for our Xmas trip this past year. It only took them about 20 mins to get it fixed for me.

I had the same problem, two for my son wouldn't let me delete one. Quick call to Disney they merged the two.

I would suggest again like the others that a 5 minute call with solve your problem

No idea how to quote on this "new" (to me) layout. But the issue seems to be resolved. Like I posted in my OP, the additional account with the old age was linking to OLD ticket cards, which I was confusing for our tickets now (which do not show up as cards at all for any of us). The MB is attached to the correct person.

There is no such thing as a "quick" call to Disney, hence the reason I posted to begin with ;) I love Disney, but absolutely loathe calling them.
