Hi All!

I think that I heard somewhere that you can have dolls made up in one of the countries in Epcot. I would love to know the details of this...vinyl or porcelain...cost...where...any details that you can think of...

My DD has saved alot of money for our upcoming trip in November and I was thinking that this would be something special that she could do.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you!!!

You can do it in Germany. I'm pretty sure they are porcelain but not 100% since I'm not into dolls. We got caught in that shop during a huge rainstorm, so I know the dolls are there. Someone else will know how much $, I'm sure.

I had a doll made last August. The dolls are vinyl. When I got my doll, the costs were: dolls in traditional dresses, $135, and dolls in a Disney princess outfit $145. We were there in January, and I remember looking at the sign, and thinking that the prices had gone up, but I can't remember by how much. Its a lot of fun to do though. You get to pick out the outfit, hair color, hair style, etc. And the women who make them are great to talk too!

They are not porcelin - they are beautiful though. You can hand pick the face hair and costume and they make the doll while you watch. My dd is saving her money for our next trip so hopefully she will get to do this. My girls love to watch even if it isn't their doll being made.

They are "Engel-Puppen" dolls. If you want to see more about them check out the website at:

- on the left hand side click the small yellow "english" tab!!

In August they were $135.00 and $145.00 for a disney dressed doll.
