Can a PTR be therapeutic?YUP!!Addictive?**2/14-I'm home...**

Ahh....the old days of arguing on WDW trips.....You live and learn.

It's understandable, really. Look at all the time we invest dreaming and planning our "perfect" vacations. (Not to mention the amount of money invested.) It's no wonder that tensions can run high.

My own weakness is that, as the primary OTP, I find myself feeling responsible for everyone having a great time. Can't fall into that trap.... each person (adults, anyway) is ultimately responsible for their own good or bad time.

I'm still living and learning that one! ;)

Oh, words from the wise.:thumbsup2

I try and plan alot of down time which, at least this time, isn't a problem for me since I'm staying for 14 days.

Know of any good bathrooms?:rotfl2:

Hmmm...that's definitely an idea............

So true! And sometimes their idea of a great time is not the same as yours.....

Congrats on your new addition, Jordan! Grand gathering! :grouphug: Maybe you'll get a new hat or a binder friend for Binder!

ok I am back and I think caught up! yea for adding more to your trip, they say the more the merrier but after spending last 4 days with the family I am spending my 8 days at disney with, I am :scared1: a bit.

Yea the binder went to the beach. Mine went to lots of places too but do you THINK I remembered to take any pictures of it??????? NO

Well what are you changing now???? I must know. We did our iteneray over the weekend but I have a month before I can call for resies.

Nice another addition to the trip. If you let me stay in your room, and pay for my tickets ill be there.
:thumbsup2

I will take care of my transportation.

does the binder need a chaparon on the next field trip?

yes that is apparently the problem we always run into. My BF and I like to get up at 8:30 and be at the parks around 9:30. It always just so happens that the other people we have travelled with are not so ambitious.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS TR!!! IF IT'S HALF AS AWESOME AS YOUR PTR, YOU MIGHT JUST HAVE TO PUBLISH THIS!!!

In all seriousness Jordan, it's so nice that you have such a great group going. I'm trying to get some friends and family together for a trip in 2009, but no one's biting yet!!

Oh My Goodness, Those 3 kids are adorable! You have a fine looking group going with you!

Jordan,

I thought you might be interested in this thread that just started up:http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1647152 Everyone is sharing binder info! :thumbsup2 I plan on taking pictures of mine today and hopefully having them posted by tonight. My binder doesn't go as "in depth" as a lot of people on here but I try my best to keep it that way on purpose. I'm affraid if I try to plan out EVERYTHING then I will end up disappointed in the end when it doesn't work out. I try to keep a lot of room for spontaneity.:goodvibes

You people have such great ideas for the binder...I am clearly not that creative.

Well because of the extra person, a few of the ADRs have to be adjusted.

I am babysitting 4 nights and 1 day. I figure that I am there 14 days, I can help my cousins and Josh/Joanne out so they can have some alone time.

Nice another addition to the trip. If you let me stay in your room, and pay for my tickets ill be there.

You are welcome anytime. If you came for 4 days at the beginning of the trip at Pop, you wouldn't even have to pay for the room.....

I go back and forth between wanting to get there early and sleeping in. It really depends on how late I was up the night before. Not as young as I used to be. Generally speaking I like to keep to the schedule as it is designed w/ everyone in mind.

Let me know dates...that will be my next trip to WDW....no one else signed up yet.

Wow.....that's wonderful!!!

:dance3: :dance3: 12 dancers for 12 days for us!!!! :dance3: :dance3:

:santa: :santa: I want to meet Santa!! :santa: :santa:

Rub it in.......I'm happy for you.

They really are great kids. So good.......and polite for the most part.

I, too, am not such a overplanner. I have ALOT of downtime scheduled in my itinerary......

Thanks for the heads up.

So what kind of bribery would be involved in getting you to come on my family vacation and babysit??:cutie:

Your kids are older so it would actually be fun......but tiring....hmm.....what would it take.....?:confused3 :confused3 I'll have to think about that one.

Just leaving a quick post. I have been trying to catch up on your PTR. I'm on page 13. :lmao: Fun group. Love the waving pics.:wave2: Might have to do that in your honor now. Sleeping pics were too much. I have a bunch of bench pics I'll be posting on my PTR. You'll just have to wait for that. Seems like this report is helping you deal with your grief. Great therapy. Well, gotta go. I'll still be reading.

I have a better understanding of what the new "normal" is....I still cry alot, but less now than even a few weeks ago. That might change around Xmas.

There are some old sleeping pics that my cousin has that started the whole trend, but don't know where they are. If I can find them, I'll post.

Can't wait to read more of your PTR:thumbsup2

I have the same weakness, I always feel at fault if things don't go well according to my plans. You are right that each person is ultimately responsible for their own good or bad time, I REALLY NEED to learn that.
