Can a PTR be therapeutic?YUP!!Addictive?**2/14-I'm home...**

How are you going to survive with 3 kids in tow? :rotfl2: Great pictures btw. Very nice looking bunch of people. :goodvibes

On a totally separate note, I had no trouble holding my liquor. I'd hold my beer in one hand and shot in the other! :drinking1

Hey, Jordan, the more the merrier!!! :goodvibes

LOL on some of your restroom reviews: "...nice, but not memorable...":lmao:

I know you're in OTP heaven right now... isn't it great when you actually have something to do planning-wise??

TTYL,

Kathy

I want to see pictures of these bathrooms. That way you can show us why they are memorable or not so!
Hey , maybe you could combine it with your other mission to get a picture of you and your peeps. Just get the picture in the bathroom.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Great pix!

H,

My cousin and I marvel at the six degrees of separation nature of our friendships. I am actually friends w/ Josh and Joanne and will do things completely independent of Derek and Wendy.

I actually "manny" for Erin and Dylan every Friday. I get to have kids, but not have to have them 24/7.:thumbsup2

Reminds of fraternity parties. We'd get two beers; go to the back of the line; down them; get to the front of the line; start over.

I am in OTP heaven. I will take the binder and study it before I hit the sack or look at it first thing in the morning. This morning I figured out a way for everyone to have a bit more free time.

Not everyone is commando like me.:confused3 :rolleyes1

My knowledge of restrooms kind of scares me a little. I may need professional help;)

I've given this serious consideration. My only issue is getting banned for taking pictures inside restrooms. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Let's see if I can take a binder pic w/ my peeps outside a restroom w/ my tongue out, holding a beer. :woohoo: :woohoo: Now that's a combination pic

You're like, over a Grand Gathering now!

when you go back and read, you'll see some of the madness from many of our vacations over the last 6-7 years. It's fun and a bit odd...;)

I just spent all day finding and reading this thread! Great PTR!

I'm sorry about all of your losses.

I can't wait to see the continued adventures of Binder Buddy.

Enjoy your new planning! THat's a LOT of people!!

California Grill. I try and eat here every visit. Restrooms around the corner from elevators--nice, but not memorable.

You're not so memorable bathroom is unfortunately very memorable to me. In 2005 I was at the California Grill with my then BF (now DH). We had finished a wonderful dinner in the little room in the back and were getting ready to leave. From the Men's restroom we heard a man yelling at his son. Basically something about the kid ruining dinner and what a brat he was ...blah blah blah. It had to be at least 9 at night. You could hear the rage in this man's voice and the kid sobbing. There was a CM (manager or lead I think) standing in the hallway with us and I remember just looking at him like 'aren't you going to do something about this?' The CM just stood there and our elevator came and we left. To this day I regret not going into that restroom and riping that father a new one. That poor kid probably remembers it too...not a magically ending to the night.

:welcome: party: Thanks for the  . I'm glad, to some extent, that this year is coming to an end. Lots of sorrow. I had a great Thankgiving with family. The one good thing that has come out of it is that our family is even closer now.

Binder may be having some fun on Monday.......:rolleyes1

10 is alot. We've gone w/ 9 and 13 before. It's tough to manage everyone's vacation expectations. That's definitely the hardest part.

How sad. :sad2:

I've been in those same situations before--it's so heartbreaking. You figure this vacation is supposed to be about the kids, but so many parents just can't relax and understand that overtired, overstimulated kids are going to require a little extra patience. I try to shoot the kid an understanding smile, and just say something sympathetic w/ the parent, like "Tough day, huh? By this time of night, I'm about out of patients myself. " Just something to distract the parent enough to calm down a bit, maybe to realize other people can hear him, to get some perspective. I always feel like if I read them the riot act, they're just going to take out their embarassment on their kid.

I so badly wanted to disfuse the situation but because they were in the restroom they was nothing I could do. I guess that's why I wanted the male CM to just go into the bathroom so the guy would stop.

Hey havent been on here for awhile...just had so much going on. but I will be trying to catch up on all my subbed threads this week!! :goodvibes Hope all is well with you!!

I haven't quite decided....but I work in the morning then have the afternoon off. Hmmmm..........

I wish I had the afternoon off tomorrow! But no, another 10am-7pm day for me :sad1: at what has got to be on the list of top 10 worst jobs ever (customer service for a health insurance call center.... :sad2: )

Those pics of the beach were gorgeous! I hate going to the beaches around here...there are always 8 million people there and it's just not cool. It looks like you and Binder had fun though :rotfl:

I don't know how you go to WDW with so many people. I wanted to severely harm my brother and his GF on our October trip.... and don't even get me started on last May. Let's just say that I was so angry I was shaking while yelling and I didn't care that the room door was open or who walked by and heard me. I was NOT a happy camper. And the time we went in JULY with my whole family.... :scared:

Farrah!!!!!!!!! I've missed you. I know real life gets in the way.....so stop by when you get a chance, but no rush. I'm not going anywhere.....at least not for another few months.....;)

Ahh....the old days of arguing on WDW trips. I would like to say there have never been disagreements on our trips. But back in the day, we had more than our share of yelling. I think I wrote way back in my PTR that I don't yell, but when I went with a co-worker in 96, we got in 3 knock down arguments. In 97,01 and 03 there have been some major disagreements.

You live and learn. I know how to travel w/ large groups much better than I used to. You'll get there....it takes awhile.
