Can a PTR be therapeutic?YUP!!Addictive?**2/14-I'm home...**

Jordan you're a nut and would fit in nicely in my family. I'm thinking of giving one of my clan the heave-ho so there's a spot open if you're interested.

Think it over.

In the meantime, let the hilarity continue! :rotfl2:

I have an old friend that lives near Deer Lodge Montana. I would like to visit her and her family someday...I'll stop by if you promise to chase LtP around the house w/ the Stretchy Shorts on the end of a stick. You could probably sell tix on the DIS and make some pretty good money.

So Mondays are usually a day off for me since I work at church on Sundays.

Today, instead of laying around the house all day, I decided to take a trip down to the beach. It's 10 miles from my house, about a 15-20 minute drive. I know this may be hard to believe, but it's been 2 years since I've been to any beach....

It was about 65 down at the beach, not too bad. Sunny and not windy and COMPLETELY empty. Here's proof:

Binder made the trip:

It was the Binder's first trip to the Pacific Ocean:

I spent about 1 1/2 hours down there. I did some reading from the Good Book and did some prayin.....It was so peaceful and relaxing. I didn't see more than 15 people the whole time I was there. It was just me and the birds:

I walked back up to the car. Of course, I had to use the restroom and had to get a pic. Clean, quiet.

I definitely will be making this trip more often. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

What? 2 years since you've been to the beach? :faint:

I have officially hit rock bottom: I am jealous of the binder. I wanna go to HB!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! Jordan, don't get too cross-eyed watching football!

  Hope you, your family and your binder have a GREAT Thanksgiving!!!!

Thanks.

After I went to the restroom, I checked out the menu at the Snack Bar. Alas, no more Strips. They have been unceremoniously replaced by the newer, shinier nachos.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! Jordan, don't get too cross-eyed watching football!

Football............Football......Football

Nachos? :faint: Say it ain't so. Strips rocked! Extra cheese and extra sauce! :cloud9: Last time we were there we ate at Chimayo (sp?). We used to party at Perq's during college and when we walked by last time, it looked really scuzzy.

Most of the places I partied are no longer around.:sad1:

Friday's at the City was an old drinking hole as was Acapulco's across from Disneyland. Chest of Drawers in CM...

Looks like an AWESOME day at the beach! Add me to the list of people jealous of the binder!

:welcome: party: Thanks for joining. You want crazy and funny, read Montana Disney Fan's TR. or Fauntleroy's or KathyRN's..Jiminy's Girl....

I think I'm going to steal that phrase if you don't mind.:thumbsup2

I give you permission to steal....guess you probably don;t hear that too often. hahaha:rotfl2:

What no pics of Binder Buddy at thanksgiving...what kind of buddy to the binder are you?? hahaha:rotfl2:

I don't think I mentioned this yet, but as of a few weeks ago, we have one more person joining us on our trip in February.

DCHBFWB ( Dear Cousin's Husband's Best Friend's Wife's Brother, got that?), Fred is now going. I would make you go back a check out a few of his pix since he was on our WDW trip in 2003, but I'll spare you the work.

Here's Fred, Josh (he's going too) and I at the Rose and Crown Pub in September 03 in the days pre-Free Dining:

Fred will be flying in ahead of his sister and BIL, so I'll be hanging out with him on Saturday, Feb 2nd before everyone else gets there.

All plans, ADRs, will have to be changed and updated now. Who am I kidding? It gives me the opportunity to tinker with itineraries and the like. Each time I have to change something, it's a little bit of a rush.....sick I know, but much better than other vices.....:rolleyes1

So to recap our cast of Characters:

There's me Jordan, 45.

and the above mentioned Fred.

7 adults and 3 kids in all.........

As a tribute to Thanksgiving and all the eating we do, I thought I'd post pix of us dining in Sept 03:

Eating at Chefs de France. I don't know if we're eating there this time around, but they do have nice bathrooms inside the restaurant.

The Flying Fish Cafe. Derek, Wendy, Josh, Joanne and Fred will be eating there while Kim and I babysit the kids. You can save your nominations for "Man of the Year" until a bit later....:rolleyes1. Restrooms are shared w/ Seashore Sweets and Spoodles.

CRT. No longer just a regular restaurant :sad2:, but only a Character Dining Experience now. I don't think I'll be eating there anytime soon. Restrooms a bit small.

DSC02731.jpg

Brown Derby is one of my favorite Theme Park Table Service Restaurants, but not worth the 2 credits for DDP. I don't think we'll be eating there unless we pay OOP (not to be confused w/ OPP or OTP). Nice, private restrooms.

California Grill. I try and eat here every visit. Restrooms around the corner from elevators--nice, but not memorable.

DSC02634.jpg

Prime Time Cafe. I think we are going to try and eat here in February, but OOP. Pot Roast is my favorite meal here. Restrooms behind Tune In Lounge. Nice.

If you examine 3-4 of the pix, you'll see that I was on a martini binge that year. :thumbsup2
