The pillowcases look great!! I have monogrammed water bottles coming for the coaches. The banner for our team was super and the kids enjoyed the cupcakes after practice last night. So far Homecoming is progressing nicely. I am getting off work early today so I can run some errands.I have to pick up 3 more crowns, helium, balloons & ribbon. I will spend most of the evening at the park decorating. I will be there all day tomorrow so I can crown all the Queens and pass out gifts!

Karen - I just can't get over how awesome you are with this type of stuff!! You are making some wonderful memories for you kids by having this much enthusiasm I got a question - do have a fund you use for this, or do you have to pay for all this stuff yourself?

I laid out some more clothes for the girls last night, and now I"m about 75% done with them. I'm having such a hard time packing for this trip - it's weird!!! But then again, I'm a little weird about packing

I'm up super early this Sunday morning because I have so much to do today. We are taking Katie to the mall for an 11am appt to have her Halloween pictures taken (she's Belle for Halloween, and her gown is beautiful - she's very proud of it ) But before we go I have to dye my hair, lay out some more clothes, and clean up this house a little bit - it's a mess (but anyone else would probably think it's fine). You can barely move upstairs with all the suitcases out and then the Halloween decorations boxes out - it's driving me CRAZY !!!! Those decorations boxes will be back up in the attic by the end of the day - I put some things up yesterday, and I'll do a pinch more today


Well, it's time for me to take advantage of this time, and do something.

Homecoming was great yesterday! The gilrs loved the pillowcases (so did the moms). The coahes loved the water bottles (people were trying to buy them). We have a registration fee we collect and we do alot of fundraising to get the money for all the stuff we do. I even had a queen for each team this year to help enourage more fundraising - it didn't really increase what we raise, but it did reward the girls who do raise money.


I did have to make a small trip to the ER yesterday! Sarah & I found it quite funny - of course what else is there to do but laugh! I have alot of allergies and in the last few months my reactions with my eyes have been getting worse. Usually just red, ithcy, watery eyes. Well yesterday my left eye looked like someone punched me!!! It was so swollen! Even the white part of my eye was swollen and protruding! We weren't sure what was going on - didn't know if maybe I had a foreign body in there or not, so we went to the ER. The MD said it was allergies - gave me a shot of steriods and some antihistamine eye drops and I went back to the park. We took lots of pics on my cell phone! It is still pretty swollen today, but much better than yesterday. I had to go see a patient today and I told her it wasn't anything contagoius. She smiled and said she hadn't even noticed!! Whatever - I still look like I got beat up!! Poor Jim - people at the park kept telling him he shouldn't hit me!

I'm sure glad that there was nothing seriously wrong with your eye That's good the doctor was able to give you something so it could start to heal quickly

When I was having problems with my ocular rosacea, people would look at me funny all the time because it looked like I had pink eye, and I thought I had pink eye too. I was glad when I could tell people too that it wasn't contagious - you could tell people were more comfortable around me then

That's so funny!!
It's funny, because I bruise super easy, and Kevin hears alot of that too. People saying to him, "Are you beating Sandy again!?"

I had a very busy, but successful day yesterday
Dyed my hair, went to the mall where we got Katie's pictures taken (they turned out awesome by the way), got my formal wear, got new shoes to go with the formal wear, got a pedicure, went out to dinner, came home and finished laying out the girls clothes, gave showers, watched some tv, went to bed - it was a very productive day!!!

Now that the girls clothes are laid out, I guess it's time for me to start laying out my clothes I'm going to do some of that before I go to work today - therefore, I better get my butt going!!!!

I had a really good day at work yesterday, which was great, because I've been so slow Some of the orders are pretty complex, and luckily, these customers said I could work on their projects when I return - I just love easy, understanding customers!!!!

Does anyone have suggestions on a theme for our tshirts for our upcoming trip? Jim has agreed to matching shirts - Sarah too (but only one day). I need a theme. I have the people to mak ethem. It's the store I do all my park business at. He won't even charge me a set up fee and then only about $10 a shirt, so I want to do something AWESOME! Or at least not embarassing!

Your t-shirts sound like an awesome idea, and I'm really bad when it comes to ideas for something like this (I'm not very creative). There's a board on here that has different ideas for t-shirts - it's here in the "just for fun" section of the boards (I can't remember exactly what it's called)

What a rainy, rainy, morning here in the Chicago area
I'm so glad that it didn't storm last night, because I don't have anywhere for the girls to sleep with all our suitcases all over the place.


I'm starting to get really stressed out.
I have so much to do at work, and still so much to do at home. There's not enough hours in the day. I woke up with a terrible headache today, and I know it's because of the stress

Yesterday was my 36th birthday, and I didn't say anything because I woke up really crabby, and it just didn't feel like my birthday. I really wasn't in the mood for it, because I didn't have time for it.

I ended up having a much better birthday yesterday than I expected.
I was very very busy, but everything got done, and I was very happy about that
My friends in the plaza were so good to me. One made me a birthday cake, and the other one had chocolate covered strawberries delivered to me
Then after work I went to my mom's (my whole family was there) and my mom made dinner, and she also baked me a cake
I got some wonderful gifts - one being Croc slippers (the liner comes out so you can wash them)
It ended up being a great great day!!!!!

So tomorrow is when we leave - it's so hard to believe!!!!!!!
The suitcases are totally packed now, and all I have to pack is mine and the girls carry-on bags (that should take me about 15 minutes). This time tomorrow we'll be sailing to Key West

I'm not working much today - my #1 employee will be here today and tomorrow
I'm going in for about an hour this morning, and then I have to take the girls to the doctor (their prevacation checkup)
After that, I would like to deliver a framing order to a corporate client of mine.
Then Kevin, the girls, and I will go out to dinner, go say goodbye to his parents, and then go to bed early.
The alarm will be ringing very early tomorrow morning!!!! (about 2:30am )

*I'm not to happy to see 1/2 my signature gone (I loved my siggie). I knew it was happening, but I wasn't sure how much would be eliminated until Wednesday morning. I guess I won't have any more tickers, because I'm not giving up my pictures to have it. Oh well, I guess worse things could happen.
