I SOOOOO wanted to do the Christamas party and was super excited! Imagine my disappointment when I discovered that there is not a party the entire week we are there!! UGH!! I really wish they were having one! My mom has gone and says it is wonderful. We did the Halloween party years ago & had a great time!

I heard on the knews that you have a freeze warning by you - is that true?

It is 38 degrees here this morning. 30 in Evergreeen (about 2 hours north). So it's pretty chilly. It will warm up into the 60's though. We usually get cold snaps that last a few days, then it levels off. We have spent many Christmas & Thanksgivings in shorts! It really varies here.

Why would you be bummed about the party?

I ordered 30 pins for J & E to trade. I loved the lady I got them from last time. I didn't put the kids likes, so I hope we get a bunch they don't want to keep so they can make more trades! They will print our tshirts next week. I got my Disney Rewards card. Everything is progressing nicely! I checked Accuweather's 15 day forecast (thanks Mom) and the weather is looking great so far! Highs in the 70's, lows in the 60's!!

I am so ready to be on vacation!

62 here this morning and no humidity!! I am FREEZING!! PERFECT Disney weather...too bad I just blew my vacation money on a new washer and dryer!! OH Well!

Stephanie's teacher is calling me at 7:30am this morning for my parent/teacher conference. She's doing that, because there's no way I can get in for a face to face conference. I thought that was nice of her to call me.

slo - that is nice of Steph's teacher! I am sure it will be all positive comments! Our kids get out early today & have a holiday Monday.

Jim & James are hunting this weekend. It is youth hunt weekend. James has never gone & officially hunted so he is pretty excited. Jim bought him a new rifle. They also got a two seater ladder stand so they con sit together. I don't know who is more excited - Jim or James.


Emily & I have the park cheer competition this weekend. I hope our girls do well. I wasn't running the competition this year, but I helped alot. I am so sick of DRAMA!!! So, after competition that means my nights next week will be freed up to get ready for the trip!

Today is a shopping day
We are going to the mall to look for Christmas dresses for the girls, stocking stuffers for Stephanie (she's not going to be with us - she's going to a baby shower with my mom), hopefully a couple of Christmas gifts for some family members, a Christmas tree w/ decorations for the store - we have lots of ground to cover


Karen - Good luck to Emily and the rest of the girls this weekend
I'm sure they'll do great!!!

Well, we had a super exciting day!! Our squad took first place!! We were in a big division & there were some really good squads! I am very proud of the whole team! My park also won the Spirit Award for 2007. This is a personal thing for me because all of the cheer directors from every park vote! It was a great day, but Emily, Haley & I are beat!!


Sandy - how was the shopping? I hope you got everything done!

I can't believe we leave in a week!! I know what I will be doing all week!!

We had such a successful shopping day yesterday - it was awesome!!!! I can home with several Christmas dresses for the girls to try on, Christmas presents for my mom, brother, brother & SIL together, dad, and MIL. We let Katie pick out a present for her sister, which she did, but the minute we got home, she told her what she got I also bought several stocking stuffers for both girls Oh, and I also bought my Christmas tree w/ decorations for the store - our car was packed to the gills with stuff
