I had such a nice weekend!!!
It was so nice to have the last 2 days with my family
I really miss them with working so much
That's the only problem with starting your own business.
But I'm now rejuvinated, and ready to go back to work today

My weekend was busy. Sunday was awful!!! It took forever to see all the patients. It's OK, tohough! It's done now and I will be glad of it on payday! I plan to set aside the extra money for the trip in November!

I"m sorry your Sunday was awful, and the patients took a long time to see Do you go to their homes, or do you go to their nearest clinic? I'm glad you will get paid for all your time on Sunday - do they pay you for milage too?

sandy - I go to the patient's house. It's really not bad. I enjoy it and the driving gives you freedom. It just gets a little hectic some weekends. I am on call again this weekend, so hopefully it won't be so busy! I am so glad things are going well at your store!

I am so ready for my trip!! I keep checking my ticker - it's still a loooooonnnggg way off!!I guess I will just have to keep planning in the meantime!

I HATE THAT IT IS NOW ALMOST DARK WHEN I WAKE UP!!!!!!

The News now is saying today is going to be a rainy day - that means I'll be slow today. People don't frame in the rain I've had an awesome last couple of days, and it would be great to end the week the same way - but we'll see what happens with the rain



I have a proud mom moment to share.
Stephanie passed her first Accelerated Reader test yesterday She just passed, but I don't care, all I care about is that she passed. With reading coming hard to her, this was great, because the book was 11 chapters, and she really worked hard to read it all - I'm so proud of her!!!!



Karen - Your trip will be here before you know it I love the planning stage of the trip - it's one of my favorite things to do What are your plans? Do you have any ADR's made for this trip? If you told me, I'm sorry

I asked one of the PRN nurses to take my call today so it wouldn't conflict with the football game. She and I will talk tonite & see if she wants to do tomorrow also.

I am going to start filling in the cool spreadsheet I got from the DIS tonite with all the park hours, EMH, etc... We have three scheduled meals with the UCA group. I know Jim and I are going out one night alone to La Celier (sp). I am really excited about eating there. We will eat at ESPN the first night - the kids like it and it is close to the Dolphin. Any suggestions?

That's awesome about you and Jim having some time by yourself at LeCellier We ate there a long time ago, and I have such faint memory of it, because Stephanie was sleeping in her stroller, and when she woke up, she was so crabby. No food tastes good when you are trying to deal with a crabby 3 year old I really want to go back.

Kona Cafe for breakfast (so you can have some Tonga Toast for me )

I had a wonderful, relaxing, day yesterday.

The girls played in the pool, while I vegged out on the deck.
I did get some sunburn, but I don't care, it felt good to relax!!!

Yesterday wasn't bad for work - just 3 patients. They were just very far apart! It's OK , though! I am not on call next weekend!! I just hate Monday mornings! I can't seem to get going! I feel like I could sleep all day!!

We have an important game this weekend, so we will probably spend most of Saturday at the park. On Sunday I am going to stay in bed as long as possible and stay in my jammies until at least noon!!

The DIS was down when I woke up yesterday morning, and then I didn't have an opportunity to post during the afternoon.
I hate it when the DIS is down when I wake up. This is the 2nd time in a couple of weeks that this has happened - what's going on????

I do not feel like going to work today
I love the store, but there are some days that I really miss home
I have so much to do at work though, so as soon as I get there, I'll be busy, and it'll take my mind off wishing I'd be home.

Actually, I should probably kick on my furnace to get the chill out of the air - but I think Kevin would have a stroke because he and the kids (especially Katie) are never cold. Me, on the other hand, is always cold

We got alot done yesterday!!!
We covered the pool, and I pulled out several dead flowers and planted fall mums in their place. I also decided to pull out all the flowers that the deer ate because they looked ugly. They weren't dead, but they were naked As much as it's a bummer to cover the pool, at least it's now done, and we don't have to worry about it.



I"m so glad it's not as cold in the house this morning - it's makes it easier to take a shower.

Hi slo!
I can't believe ya'll are covering the pool! It is still so hot here! Now we had a wonderful day yesterday. It was cool!! It will be back in the nineties soon though! We don't have much of an autumn here.
James' team lost, but they handled it well! Back to practice this week!
Emily has been so busy with cheering at school!! She also helps me at the park 3 nights a week and on Saturday, plus she's in SWAT (students working against tobacco)! All that and she makes great grades! Her school football season doesn't last much longer. I am not sure how long volleyball season is (they cheer for that, too). We got some really exciting news about Em last week! She was chosen (based on test scores) to participate in the Duke Univ. TIP program. She will take the ACT (like high school kids) in February! If nothing else comes out of it, it's great practice for her with this test!
Sarah came home yesterday. Her boyfriend's GF dies, so she came home for the wake & funeral. It's a sad reason to be home, but I am glad I get to see her.
Well, I am off - I have to help Jim pack up. He is taking James and his student council campaign posters to school. I nominated him to hang them this year, since so many of the 5th graders are taller than me now!
