We are leaving a week from today to go to WDW for a week before the cruise. I guess I'd better start packing!

Another step toward 10K

We are staying in 6628 (yup, neighbors with DeniseW), arriving Friday early afternoon and staying at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites (Radisson didn't have any non smoking rooms left and DD has asthma).

Just got back from a business trip to Boston, ready to CRUISE now!

Colestat.. I got you covered..I have 96 bubbles. and I know I didnt get 96 people to want them. so I ahve lots of extras..

Off to go shopping.. My puppy is all clean..and white again..

TERRY.. did you ever see the tote bag I had made instead of the pillow case?? I used some DISNEY and friends stamps ahead of time and made the words with COLORFAST MARKERS.. I had our names STAMPED on it and gave them to guest relations with the markers in the bag.. Picked them up on FRIDAY after our very long cruise.. and its still looking great.. I will have to take a pic of it and post it..

TERRY,.. I am jealous.. I cant wait to see the MAGNETS.. I will put them on the GARAGE door afterwards I think so everyone will see where we were.. Will CRUISIN CASTAWAYS be in the package as well ANNA?? i cant remember now??

I will need so much room for the DIS stuff as well as the stuff I want to buy in the PORTS..lol

Also in the mail today was the information for Craig's college "Welcome Week" for Labor Day weekend and the following week. Apparently these are required activities. They look like a lot of fun though; a campus-wide scavenger hunt, Spirit of Boston dinner cruise, Community Service projects, Opening Day BBQ, a trip to Providence, RI for "Waterfire" art exhibition and dinner, and many more. I wish I was going to college with him! LOL

This has been, and is continuing to be, a busy but very good year for us!

Doreen: Have fun at the mall! I just gave John and Craig haircuts (they both get shaved down to 1/4")... Craig has work this afternoon and John and I are going out shopping. It's so late in the summer, not sure what we'll be able to find for the cruise. LOL

Been reeaalll busy lately---did I say I've been real busy??? But....the good news is that we are almost packed!!!

So many things to catch up on---let's see if I can get all of this and if not I'll just have to post again to get us to the BIG 10,000!!!

For the cabin thread---We are in cabin 6600 and my folks are in cabin 6602

Can't believe I'm even in the running for the post prediction---looks like it will be Elaine though---did'nt think everyone would be posting so much on the weekend---thought you all would be packing or shopping---just goes to show you can do more than one thing at a time!!! Good Luck Elaine!!

Better get back to the list --so I can make it grow shorter --I can hardly believe all the STUFF we are taking --where does it come from and why oh why do we need it???

Tina: I love the idea of Tag! I actually suggested something like that a few months back but it involved the exchanging of little gifts but people already did that by sending out packages so I forgot about it. The idea of signing the green Mickey is perfect!

Doreen, actually the CARBS have been biting me for a long time!! At this point slim fast doesnt even work Buddy Bear, the house is beautiful, Ortley is very close to us, we are in Chadwick Beach, love it here! Would love to make this a year round house, alot of people here are taking their smaller houses and building big beautiful new ones. Paula, I agree about the SI expressway, why is there ALWAYS traffic on that thing!

Hi Mare, it's Johna. I can't seem to log Jim off. So, I will have to write under his name for now. Thank-you for the bubble request. I went to that website we were talking about. Seems pretty good. May have done some damage!
Once and for all I have to see what I am bringing on this cruise. Alyssa has so many clothes out and ready. She is making me nuts with the clothes thing. I still have to go to Khol's and Aeropostale, just running out of steam.

They just delivered the new mattress about a half an hour ago. It is the same mattress as we had so I am not expecting much. I do love the king size but, the pillowtop is so huge. I find it comfortable, Jim doesn't. It really feels like velvet.

Yesterday, at D's dollar, I bought some head wraps for pirate night. I figured it would be a good way to get ready quickly. Just put on some makeup and tie that thing around my head. Looks goofy but, it is pirate night! Now, I need me some big earrings!

Johna I know what you mean. I feel really lousy today. The stomach thing still hanging on. I am sorting through clothes trying to make some sense. Sense? What sense? Nonsense! and then the concert Ugh! Taryn got meds from the Dr. for her seriously burned face. That's good at least. Maybe she'll be healed by cruisetime! Hey with Alyssa's cruise wardrobe, that second cabin was a great idea!

Also, may be borrow the High School Shirt (or whatever it's called) for tomorrow please? Glad you like the site too!
