Been busy working on planning trips for people; taking travel courses. I'm so excited that I'm getting to go on it for one night 5/15.

Haven't finished getting my taxes together yet.

Ed: Taking down Christmas decorations ? I have Valentines decorations up. February seems to be a blah month only because it's cold and gray outside.

Bev: Kids had a nasty thing that had a cough that lasted for 3 weeks. Hope your feeling better now. I am so jealous you get to go on all these little trips. hmmm maybe I should think about becoming a travel agent.

Hey gang! Just popped by to say "Hi!".

I've been soooo busy lately. I spent nearly 2 weeks in Kentucky for work last month and I'm still working ugly hours (45+ per week).

I haven't done my taxes yet, but will be using the refund to pay for my airfare. (The cruise is paid for, but I haven't done the flight yet.) I'm hoping to join you guys at the Raddison the night before the cruise, but the timing of the flights cross-country doesn't bode well in that regard.

I was able to watch the Superbowl last weekend. I always knew that God had a sense of humor, but never realized that he was quite so sadistic with it. We finally get the Seahawks into the Superbowl for the first time and the day before the big game we have a major, major wind storm (60+ mph winds) that takes out the power and cable over a very large chunk of western Washington. My power came back on late Saturday night, but I know a whole bunch of folks that were scambling to find a place to watch the game. I'm sure that God was laughing his butt off at us the whole time!

I'll join in............I HATE SN*W as well!!!

Just came in from digging our car and driveway out. We finished with between 12 and 15 inches, only took me two hours to dig us out.

I have declared "NO MORE SN*W" this winter, I'm tired of it!!!

Ive been out three times today
Twice for 45 minutes each time, and another for 30.

Steps and driveway is cleared and cars are cleaned off.

Well this is one way to kill a day off.

Tomorrow is back to work, oh well.

We were bummed since we only got around one inch. Just a dusting where we are in PA. I don't mind snow as long as it happens on a day that I don't have to get into work. DD was bummed since she thought she might milk a delay out of it until we looked out the window on Sunday morning and said, you can't be serious!! I guess we were on the western edge of the storm or it would have been worse.

We got a 2hr delay out of this storm, & 18 inches of snow.
What a way to ruin a weekend.

I had to shovel the walk, breezeway and driveway 3 times yesterday.

Oh well I got my exercise in for the day so it wasnt a total waste.

We got a total of 21"!!! The boys were thrilled. They got a day off of school today. All is great in their world.
Luckily for me (or not depending how you look at it) I was already scheduled off today. Of course, now I get to spend the day with them. LOL

Just started to snow here in CENTRAL NY.. Kids have next week off. JAclyn is heading to VIRGINIA and Daniel and I will go to the CIA.. that is the CULINARY INSTITUTE of AMERICA.. in HYDE PARK NY.. he is so excited.. they have a FRENCH RESTAURANT there and he is taking FRENCH. He told his teacher and she wants a menu.. last night he printed it out.. that is where he wants to go to school..Its great.. he has been doing all the cooking lately.. I LOVE IT!!

I actually work with Jerry McNamera's aunt and we both graduated from the same high school (although way before his time!!). The Orangeman aren't doing too well but I know we continue to send a large contingent from Scranton every time that he plays at Syracuse.

My kids are also off from school next week. Feel free for you and Daniel to drop off some French food here. Brooke is also taking French in school.
Dante had puppy class last night and he gave out Valentine treats to all the other puppies. For the puppy owners he gave them Heart shaped cookies.
I hear we aren't going to get so lucky with the sn*w this weekend. At least we aren't. It's going to also be about 12 degrees. Tina

This weekend is going be a cold one, but on the bright side it will be only six months untill we hit that warm(hot) water for the cruise.


While its still early has anyone started thinking about any excusions or items to do on this cruise.

Being first timers we are looking for ideals for the douple dip cruise in AUG.

Caitlin will be 9 by the time of the cruise, and I will have just turned a year older a few days before the cruise (on the 15th) Right now I think we will be leaving for FL on the 16th - possible autotrain again to FL but who knows still planning stage.

Sarahs mom... I go to the CHRISTMAS TREE SHOP at least 2xs a week.. I love that store..Its about 2 miles from my home. I get so much of my supplies for my jewelry business.. You can go on line and look at the newpaper ad... I was in your area last SATURDAY to a conferance.. I think it was exit 193. Off Rt 81. It was the old train station that is the RADDISON... It was really nice inside.

TINA.. I have 2 shows of course this weekend with all this snow.. Of course these days with no snow.. NOTHING!!!

ED.. Last time we did the BANANA boat and the parasiling.. Loved the parasailing,, HATED the banana boat.. KAren did the cabana massage and loved that too.. THis time we will just relax and soak up the sun and do the big trike bikes maybe..

Doreen..my dad used to work at that train station when I was a kid (many moons ago) for a shipping company. The place really fell into disreperair and it was actually a place where bums hung out but it was purchased and brought back to its splendor. There really are some beautiful pieces in there. I've never seen the rooms. I actually only work about 10 blocks from there! Small world.
