I did our taxes Monday evening after work. I like getting them out of the way ASAP!!! Our refund should be in our checking account by this coming Friday. :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

I'm waiting to hear back from my mom, I made an appointment for a heater repairman to go to my mom's place today and give us an estimate to get her furnace replaced. I will feel so much better once this is finished!!!

Is anyone else having problems getting e-mail alerts from the DIS? Seems like the e-mail notices have been very slow in going out lately.

Hello All :wave2:

Just thought I would pop in and pay a visit to say hello and see how you are all doing :goodvibes

Well the cruise is coming around very fast now, and even though I have made some lovely plans for my trip in October, I still havent gotton over the fact that I wont be crusing with you all :sad2: Well not this time anyway, but lets hope some time in the future.

I am eagerly awaiting any news on the med cruise, as I would so love to do one of these, so lets hope it comes off.

Im very busy over on the UK Comm boards, as Im hosting the monthly quiz again this month, and Im still very busy with my job.

I do try to keep up to date as much as I can with this thread, and I am expecting those of you still going to do daily reports from the ship, ;) :goodvibes so I can still see how this wonderful cruise is doing.

Vicki is well and sends her best wishes to you all, she has just finished all her "Mock Exams" and did very well, we went for her 1st interview at college yesterday and they have told her that as long as her GCSE Grades are the same as her mocks, then she definatly has a place. She is taking a BTEC National Diploma course in Multi-Media Studies, and will have to enrol at college on the 22nd August, so you can see why I had to cancel the cruise, as enrolling from the middle of the ocean would have been impossible. :)

Well thats all my news for now, I do hope that you are all well and that life is being kind to you :goodvibes

Take Care All :sunny:

Hi Tina,

I am getting e-mail alerts, but not on all threads, and sometimes the alerts arrive 8 to 10 hours after the latest post was made. I just happened to be in checking my PM's when I saw your reply to the cruise meets thread. Same with Ed's and Sue's posts.

Andy

Sue: Nice to see you posting again. :sunny: I am curious about the Med. cruise also.........I am sure we won't be able to go, I just wan't to look. :rolleyes1

Bev: Do you have big plans for the big game tomorrow? I know your Eagle fans but Pittsburgh Isn't that far away right? :rotfl2: Dante is still recovering from his surgery. I had to get him shaved and he has to wear a sweater. I dare to say he looks like a poodle. :dog:

Terry: I am so anxious for the Magic to :sail: to Cozumel so I can hear reports about it. Any inside info on when that will happen? :rolleyes1 DCL keeps changing it.

Doreen: Haven't heard how your feeling............been thinking about you. Hope your better. :wizard: :wizard:

Darlene: Thanks for dancing . Did you already go to Bermuda? I wanted to wish you a good trip and I wanted to hear all about it.

Hope all is well with everyone. :wave2: Some snow on it's way for tomorrow. Yuck. Tina

That is exactly what is happening to me, E mail alerts 8-10 hours late and not on all threads.

Is Dante the dog in your sig? Cute dog, no beautiful dog. Is he a Maltese or Bichon, Looks like a Maltese or Havanese. But I have a Bichon and he looks exactly like that but with curly hair. Same exact face. All 3 of those breeds are from the same family.

Hi everyone,

Tina - what's wrong with looking like a poodle? I have 2 of them. paw: paw: lol
No plans for watching the game. :3dglasses My son is the big Eagles fan. I'm not really into any sports but I occassionally watch it with him (and I did take him to an Eagle's game last year). My plans for today is getting my tax stuff together so that hopefully I'll get money back so I can dance with you too. :dancer:

Andy - glad you're able to help your mother but sorry you can't make our cruise. :sad2:

Sue - hi and glad you're doing well.

I'm going on RCCL's Radiance of the Seas 2/26 - 3/5/06. :boat: They will be having seminars at sea :teacher: for Travel Agents. I'm really excited. :woohoo: It'll be a chance for me to check out another ship. I'm taking Lindsay with me. I finally unpacked and put everything away from my Wonder cruise and now I have to pack again. It's tough but someone's gotta do it. :lmao:

For anyone who is staying at the Radisson the night before our cruise and didn't book it yet, come party  party: with us. I still have some rooms blocked for our group. :grouphug: Just PM me and I'll add you to my list. Anyone needing transportation from Orlando airport to the Radisson or the Port, let me know. :car: I have arrangements made with a limo company for special rates too. Let's go in style. We all deserve it. ::yes::

Hi to everyone and hope everyone has a great weekend.

Bev ::MickeyMo

Yes Dante is my dog in my sig. He is a Maltese. We were looking at a Bichon and Havanese. They are very similiar so I am not surprised they are in the same family. :goodvibes Do you have a hard time groomimg him? Dante needs to be brushed EVERY day well before he was shaved. :rolleyes1 His hair is actually growing back fast. Tina

Bev: Oh am I in hot water ? :stir: I like poodles. First breed that came to mind that you see sometimes shaved. Am I making any sense? :confused3 Have fun on your cruise this month. :boat: Will you have alot of free time? What ports will you be going too? I will be looking forward to your reports. :surfweb:

Ed:All I can say is :hourglass it's not April 15th yet right? :rotfl: Glad you and some people are getting there taxes done early and getting some rewards out of it. :teeth:

Anyone enjoy the game yesterday? I usually run in the kitchen when the game is on because I don't want to miss the commericals. :rotfl2: Some were good like the fedex, the horse pulling the carriage was just so sweet. Tina

The only problem I ever had with Shorty was the tear stains, but now I have a product that fixed that so he is pure white now. Also, the Bichon hair is shorter than the Maltese.

Joanna : Do you use eye envy for the tear stains? Dante doesn't have any yet but I use that as a preventive and it also gets the yucky stuff out. I also give Dante purified water and he only drinks out of a bottle. The breeder told me it helps to keep his face dry. Some dogs have alot while others I have seen have hardly none. :confused3 I guess time will tell. He still has his baby teeth so it's too soon to tell. Our family is having so much fun with him.

No I use angels glow. I cannot believe how it worked. When we got him his hair was terrible, and now voila!!! white. Aren't they jsut too cute. Glad you are enjoying him.

Boards are awful quiet lately. What has everyone been doing? :surfweb: I finally get back on and no one is around? :confused3 :rotfl2:

Joanne: Where did you get your clock in your sig? Is that your temp. where you live? It's cute.

No, that is Orlando's temperatures. I put it there so through the winter I could show my DH how warm it was there compared to here, but he said to me that it backfired, as some days it was warmer here. But the winter isn't over YET and this is only 1 winter like this so far.

That is to funny. :rotfl2: It is rather chilly .

Hi Joanne,
I hail from near Jones Beach; my folks are still there and retiring soon, and I think Dad has his eye on FL, but Mom's not taking the bait!.....yet..... :sunny:

The bad news: We cancelled the August 19 cruise. :sad2:

The good news: We switched to the June 24, 2006 Costa Maya cruise! :woohoo:

The main reason is that we are still unsure what school my kids will be attending next year. If they go to public school, it will start on Wednesday, August 23. Since they will be new to these schools, I would hate for them to miss the first 3 days. Plus, the public school system only allows 3 family vacation days (excused) per year. :confused3

Anyway, I am sad because this group seems so nice, but I am excited to have my vacation two months closer! :yay:

Have a great trip everyone! :wave2:
