I want to purchase the 3 day passes for $119 each at CAA. I do not have a CAA membership and I was going to get a friend to order and pay for the tickets. Does anyone know if you have to show your CAA card at the gate at Universal studios? I was told by CAA when I phoned that you do. I was really hoping that wasn't the case. Any help would be great!

I am a Travel Agent and I bought mine through Holiday House for just a few dollars more.

Call a TA, it takes a little while to get the voucher sent to you.

Thanks for your response Rebecca. Was your pass the 3 day pass? Do the days ever expire? I just phoned my TA and she sells a 2 day pass (to both parks) that must be used in 3 days. She is calling me back with the prices.

We've used 2 set of CAA USF tickets over 3 separate visits, and not once have we ever had to show our CAA card.

They have no idea where you bought your pass from when you get to the gates. We have gone with our CAA passes over the last 7 years and have never even heard of this.

I bought our 3 day passes at CAA on April 29th...I was told the offer (3 Day Canadian at Par for $119.23 CAD) was ending April 30th...are you sure they're still available?

We also purchased ours CAA at par 3 day Universal-used one day on April and will use the others in October. You do not have to show your card-it's just like a WDW park hopper ticket-that's all you have to show at the gate.

You can purchase those tickets through Holiday House if you aren't a CAA member and they never expire!

Thanks f or the replies everyone.

Rebecca, how would I go about purchasing the tickets though Holiday House? I phoned my local travel agent and she was trying to sell me a 3 day pass for $160! If you could let me know about Holiday House that would be great. Thanks.

I guess it depends on how many of you are going, and how long you want to be there for. We have bought tickets through the Universal website, and the 5 day tickets (2 park) are actually cheaper than the 2 day -2 park tickets are. And if you have a MasterCard, you can get one free, so 5 tickets, for 5 days at both parks work out to be about $74 US I think. As a family of 5, this is our best option, but the days do expire. There is also a deal for an annual preferred pass, buy one year, get the next free. They are around $168 US I think, but they are good for 2 years. The offer expires May 31 though. Remember that with an AP, you get other discounts too, like free parking, 15 - 20% off merchandise and meals, discounts on hotel rooms, etc. Sometimes you have to look at the whole picture, and decide what you are going to spend overall, to see what is your best deal. Besides, the planning is half the fun! The code needed to buy the APs is listed on this site, as well as on www.mousesavers.com They seem to have everything there!

Here at CAA the 3 day tickets are $119/cdn. The 5 day tickets through the Universal web site are $89.95 plus tax which is about $125 CDN, but if you gan get one free and will be there for 5 days it would be a great deal. I bought the 2 year AP deal for myself and the 3 day tickets from CAA for the rest of my family because I like the fact that they never expire.
