Just got back from 5 Nights at BWV, 1 night in a studio, 4 nts in a 2 Bedroom.
The Good: Great Location, near Elevator, room 1097, and 4075/4073. Lots of Welcome Homes, and Nice weather. The pools were great, and met lots of people "Dvc Members", most from Penn, NJ. Nothing wrong in either place, no light bulbs out, NOT a thing was wrong with both rooms. We actually had my SIL and brother there, so had 2 studios 1st night. Very clean rooms, GREAT AC as it was so hot!

The Bad: We had an "incident" in which we switched rooms (studio to 2 br), and my SIL medications were missing! She forgot she had put them up, and we had to get into the room and look, which we did, and they were gone! WELL... We had to get a manager (Eric) and Police involved as they were "controlled" drugs. Well, with 2 disney police there, 2 managers there, and 1 nice lady (coutney), we were filling out a police report. Well, this was all done in the lobby of BWV, and low and behold, the drug bag showed up!! Well, long story short, we found it and everybody went there own way.

The good: The next day, a call came from the front desk for my brother, and said they had a "special" delivery for us. Well, at the door was a cream brelay and a Daisy duck stuffed animal. With a note saying they were sorry about what happened, and hope we have a "magical Stay" with BWV. A nice touch I thought.

Bottom Line: I think some "mousekeeping" person took the drugs to use, and heard all the police that were involved, and the drugs
"secretly" showed up!! Now this is MY OPINION, no facts..
We had a great time other than "the incident", but it shows that BWV does go the extra mile to make the stay nice.

P.S. My SIL is writing BWV to thank them for their concern, and the nice gesture they gave my SIL/Bro.
All the people involved with "the Incident" were extremly nice, professional, and were (I feel) very concered about us..

Sorry for the ramble, but bottom line....
Great stay at BWV!!
4.5 stars out of 5!

It's good to hear that overall things went well. It must have been quite the scene in the lobby of the BW. You must have had lots of onlookers wondering what was going on?

Yeah, Lots of onlookers when Disney security showed up, that is for sure.
One more thing or 2:
1. NO ONE EVER checked Id's at the pool for 5 days! Not one person there.

2. This is my first time in a 1/2BR, and I will NOT stay in a studio again!! The 2BR is awesome! Even 1 BR is fine for 4 people.
The "moving" thing from 1 room to another stinks!! Not doing that again!!

The only time we had to move from a studio to a 2BR, they worked it out at check in for us to simply open the door between our units so that we stayed in the studio on Saturday night, then opened the door to the connecting 1BR for the next 6 nights. If you have to move, it works great if it can be worked out. You may have tried that already but if not, give it a try.

Glad you had a great trip overall and the missing items were returned.

Nice gesture for BW Staff to send a dessert and stuffed character to Sil/Bro for the trouble they went through. :)

Sounds like a great trip and a good outcome to what could have been an even worse incident.

Thanks for the report. Sorry about the "incident", but glad it was resolved. Were your rooms standard view? Could you see any fireworks?

Both views you could not see fireworks. As a matter of fact, both rooms (1st and 4th) had a great view of the Boardwalk sign in the very front of the resort. Got some nice pics of this. As for the view, nothing other than the very front of the resort.

By the way the parks were crowded, but not overly so.. I thought MGM was the most crowded.. Had to get fastpass for Indy Jones?? Never have done that..

Also fantasmic was good at MGM, had a 10:30 show (we went to 9pm show). The line at 10:35 when we left was loonggggg..
We took the boat over to BW and had not even started fantasmic..
Guess it started at 11.. Crowds were awful at MGM, good at MK..
Go figure..
