Magic Kingdom ECV Question

If we rent an ECV in the morning at Magic Kingdom, I understand they will hold it for us for us to take a break. We plan to attend the MVCP that night. Will we have to pay the rental fees again?

I don't quite understand what you are asking?You can park it and leave it for a bit, if you take your key with you. At least, that's what I do with my private rental.

Do you want to rent an ECV from the park, then ask them to store it for you while you leave the park to take a break, then pick it back up when you return for the party?

I do know that if you return an ECV in one park, then go to another park but hold on to your rental receipt you don't have to pay (unless they changed that rule since they told me that). Assuming that's the case, I'm sure you wouldn't have to pay rental fees again in the same park.

You would not have to pay again but whether there’s an EXV available when you return from your break is a bigger issue.
