Multiday Tickets and Express Passes

I have a couple of questions regarding multi-day tickets and express passes:

1) First, about the multi-day Express passes (not unlimited, e.g. https://www.universalorlando.com/web-store/en/us/express-pass?parks=1&flr=0). If you get, say, a 5-day express pass, does that give you one time per ride on each day, or does it give you one time per ride over the entire 5 day period?

2) For a multi-day multi-park ticket that includes 1 day at Epic Universe:
a) Do you have to pick your day at Epic ahead of time, or can you just choose any day in the window once you are there?
b) If you spend part of a day at Epic and then part at another park (I know, who would actually do that?), do you have to use up one of your non-Epic days, or is it part of the day you've already used?

Sorry if these should be obvious, but I find some of the statements a little ambiguous (or not what I expected), so I wanted to check...

1) one time per ride per day. this is pretty expensive though IMO and depending when you're going and how many in your party it can be cheaper to stay in a premier hotel
2) a)you do not have to choose your Epic day b)I would assume you'll use both an Epic and non Epic park day as I don't believe there is a "hopper" option with Epic

I don't know if you can do part at Epic & part at other parks - however, pretty much any other non-hopping ticket will not let you use multiple days off of a ticket to accomplish hopping. IE if you can't hop from Epic, you can't use another day entitlement to access the other parks. Assuming it works like all other Universal tickets.

I guess the question is, is it a 3-day hopper ticket with one entry to Epic, or is it a 2-day hopper ticket plus a day at Epic?

I'll follow up on my own thread with a few more questions (we did decide to go ahead and get the express passes for our trip - they were more than the park tickets! But, it was cheaper to stay in Endless Summer in a suite and then buy EPs, than to stay in Royal Pacific).

1) How do express passes to the shows work? Does it mean you can show up 1 minute before start time and still be guaranteed to get in? Is there some sort of reserved seating area (I have seen this at some places)? I'm just really unclear what it means to "use" your express pass for a show.

2) Are there rides (that take express pass) that you would strongly recommend not using the pass for, due to the queue being important enough? (As an example - it has been many years since we were at US/IOA, but I remember part of the queue in Gringott's lobby being really cool, though I don't know if the EP would put you in before or after that part).

3) I see we were able to load the EPs into the app on my phone. Does that mean that I'll need to show my phone at each ride we use the EP for?

4) As a final more specific one, for Stardust racers, I think we get 1 entry, so is it one total (then you choose a track), or is it one for each of the two tracks? Assuming it's one total, is there a clear reason to pick one track over the other to use the EP for, or do both tracks have similar wait times?

1) There is a cut off time for the shows so no you usually can't show up one minute before. I might have to do with how many people are in line Idk but I'd try to get there like 15 min early. We were turned away once when we showed up right before showtime
2) I can't think of any Que that is worthwhile other than Forbidden journey and usually the stand by wait isn't too bad just to see it once. Gringotts EP line still follows the same route as the regular line just without all the annoying switchbacks. Maybe Spiderman too.
3) they scan your EP at each ride so yes you always have to show it thats why lots of people like to have a hard copy and put it in a lanyard
