I posted this question on the Resorts board and they told me to ask over here. I didn't even think about it!
Any help would be great!
Origingal post:
My DH's parents have a 2 week per year time share in Hawaii through Interval International. They are not planning a trip this year, so they gave the exchange to us to use at WDW. (Very Nice!!) So, we booked a week at the BWV. I thought I was booking a 1 bedroom (because it said on the web site that it sleeps 4) but when the confirmation came in it was for a studio. (My in-laws time share is a 1 bedroom) I could have booked a 1 bedroom villa if I had only known, but there was no way to back out of it by the time we got the confirmation in the mail. (I did try to call Interval, but they said I had to go through Disney once the ressie was made). I have called Disney, but they sound pretty much confused about my predicament, (I probably didn't explain it too well) and keep telling me to call a different number.
Is there a possibility we can change that ressie once we get there? I have also read that faxing isn't the way they want to handle such questions. We have 2 DD's ages 17 & 19, and I thought this might be a little too close for comfort. If we can't, we will certainly make do! This a pretty much a free room for us (we just had to pay a few fees), so I don't want to sound like I am complaining! Just wondering.... We have stayed in Value, Moderate and Deluxe at WDW in the past, but never a villa. So this is a first!
Also, I read that if you are a vacation club member you only get maid service once a week. I was wondering where we fit in? I was going to get my mousekeeping cards ready, but am not sure what type of service we should prepare for!
And finally! How much do the midway games cost on the Boardwalk? I think we would get a kick out of playing those one night!
Thanks for any and all advice on BWV you can give!
Any help would be great!
