DH, myself, and DD (will be 8 months in WDW) will be going to WDW at the end of April. We're currently booked for a 1BR at BCV. Now I'm having second thoughts...thinking of switching to BWV. Here's the scoop...we own at BWV, but only stayed there for a whirlwind weekend trip...we barely spent any time at the resort and didn't swim at all. Stayed at BCV last May...enjoyed the pool a few times and loved the resort. We were surprised we could get BCV again this April so we booked it without giving it a thought...but I'm wondering if we should give BWV a try this time. Not sure if the pool is a factor...DD just started swimming lessons to get her used to the water, but I'm not sure how much time we'll actually spend in the pool with her...I don't know what it's like to travel with a baby! What do you think would be better for us and an 8 month old...the relaxation at BCV or the hustle and bustle of BWV? (Of course this is dependent on BWV even being available!) I am so torn! By the way, DH thinks I'm nuts and is leaning toward BCV...I just feel like we haven't given BWV a chance and think I might like the activity over there. Help!

If you mean this April, the odds of availability at BWV are slim and none. It's spring break for many, close to Easter (or Easter week, depending on which week in April) and within the 60 day window when unused ressies go to CRO. There are many people not able to get into WDW at all for the next couple of months! I would stay put and mentally put BWV at the top of the list for the NEXT trip.

Both of those resorts are WONDERFUL!

Anyway, since you own at BWV, I'd say stay at BCV again this trip. You'll be able to stay at BWV many times to come and it might get harder and harder to get into BCV. Plus, you can always pool-hop to BWV if you want to experience the pool. You can't pool-hop to SAB, though, if you switch to staying at BWV. Your 8 month-old might like the zero entry sand area into the pool at SAB as well.

Since the BCV isn't that far from the Boardwalk, you can always walk over there (or take one of the boats) and still enjoy the hustle and bustle.

We were at the BCV in Nov with our then 2yr old and 1yr old DDs. It was really nice being so close to EPCOT. BWV is not that much further, but every step counts when you're carrying a baby around (or pushing that stroller).

Good luck and have a great trip!
