Buying OBC before you go?

I was going to buy my DH some rainforest passes before our next cruise and saw on the DCL order form that you can also pre-purchase onboard credits with the same form. I usually just purchase gift cards and have to go to guest services, but if I do it this way will it just be on my room when I get there. I just like to have most of my cruise paid for before we go.

Yes, you will have a slip of paper in your room showing your OBC. If any of it does not get used it will be refunded to the card you used to purchase.

I haven't bought the OBC like you mention, but this past cruise in January when I called to buy my Rainforest passes, they also were able to add my Disney GC to my onboard account. They also added my Disney Rewards card points. So everything was there before we hit the boat.

I always estimate cost of excursions, spa, adult dining and pictures and have that added before we leave. I don't want my vacation to follow me home.

Just make sure to know the amounts on all of the cards. I had to scramble to find my receipt while on the phone.

We did this for Alaska. Our excursions cost $900 so I added $1000 to my onboard account
before we left. I used the Disney Visa and it qualified for the 6 months no interest promotion.
You can FAX the form, or just call in.
