Buses to DTD

I know you can no longer take a bus from DTD to the parks. But are there buses at the parks to DTD? or do I have to ride to a resort first and then go to DTD?

After spending the day at animal kingdom I would like to go to Earl of Sandwich for dinner and then do some shopping before heading back to my resort.

you will have to go to a resort and transfer to the DTD bus.

You would have to go to a resort first and catch a bus from there. (Or if you decide to go over to POFQ or POR as your transfer point, you could catch the boat!)

Another option is taking the bus to Sartoga Springs, getting off at the Congress Park stop and using the walkway to Downtown Disney.

If you're at AK for the day, take the bus to AKL and transfer to the DTD bus there.
I have to say that I hate the whole 'take the bus to SSR and walk or bus to DTD from there' idea. SSR is a huge resort...way too much room for error there if you don't know where you're going.

I have to say I agree. I usually stay at POR and the water taxi drops you right off at the Rainforest Cafe, so it is really easy to find EOS from there.

I stayed at SSR this year, and unless you are familiar with the stops and know that the Congress Park stop is next and then you get off and can get turned around very easily - it isn't worth it to me.
