Does anyone else start watching new shows because actors from these are on them? Thats why I started watching HIMYM and Bones and we now love them both. I also can't wait for Without a Trace to start up with James on it. LOL
I like Bones and HIMYM for the same reason. Did you know Jayne (Adam Baldwin) is going to be on the new series Chuck? I really hope that show is good, although it will probably get canceled, because critics love it!
Angel - loved angel - watched from the beginning. HATED the last Season.

I didn't think the last season of Angel was as bad as Season 4. Season 4 had EvilCordy and too much Connor. At least Season 5 had Spike!
Yes. We only watched Bones because it had David on it. It took me half a season to not refer to him as Angel.
I was going to take Desperate Housewives off my Tivo this year as last season sucked - but then Nathan got on board and now it will stay.

I was a huge Buffy and Angel fan. I never caught Firefly before they took it off the air, but I liked the movie. I plan to rent the season on DVD one day when I have time. Whedon is such an amazing writer. And I loved Angel, but they jumped the shark the minute Connor was introduced. I really hated the way they pushed Cordy out.
Connor was lame. And boring. I like to think that Joss had nothing to do with the creation of that character. it makes me feel better.
It's a crime that the show never received any Emmy nominations - especially for writing.
I think it did get a few Emmy nominations (Hush was nominated, and I think the makeup crew got a nod too) but no wins. There's a story going around that "Once More, With Feeling" was supposed to be submitted, but everyone thought someone else had sent it in for consideration and it never got entered. It's a shame, because it would have blown away the competition!

Buffy is my absolute favorite tv show of all-time! I agree -still in mourning that it's off the air. Have you seen "Once More with Feeling" at the theater yet? They are doing the tour at various theaters - we went a few months back and it was so much fun. My favorite episode of Angel was "Smiletime". All my friends knew not to call me on Tuesdays when Buffy was on.
I have collected the first arc of Season 8, but to be honest with you, it's hard for me to follow - I'm not a comic person, so it's a little difficult.

but own the DVD now and love love love the show. If you have Direct TV and HD they run an episode on Saturday nights. It is so pretty in HD. Also own TBD Movie in the original edition and the new collectors edition.
