Are they holding you up anywhere when you are done with breakfast? Can you leave Be Our Guest at say 8:50 how close can you get to the mine train... what is going on with this new situation? Thanks in advance!

there was a post with details on easywdw.com - looks like those with early reservations will have a fantastic advantage. looking forward to trying it out in June
Thanks I don't know how I missed that one, I keep up with Josh all the time. Thanks again! :)

It was his review that made me go ahead and book the BOG breakfast for our June trip. We got an 8:05 time so should work out great!

chalk me up for 3 breakfasts at MK, just for this reason, A&E too.

I have an 8:40 am ressie to BOG breakfast in June. Is that too late to take advantage of being able to hit the rides before the rope drop crowd?

I got an 8:20 reservation so far. First I had 8:40, then found 8:35, then 8:20. I just keep trying to back it up! I'm looking every day, several times . . .

Why do you think its too late? I thought rope drop was at 9am?
The earlier, the better. The later your ADR, the more likely it is that you will have to wait to check in and be served. Besides, who wants to rush? I would only want an 8am breakfast, so I can relax and enjoy my meal, with plenty of time for a 9am opening.

For 8:40 you could ask them for a box as soon as you get your food, box it up and go eat it while you walk. ;) Now that's COMMANDO!@

Josh's blog post was so informative! I had BOG breakfast booked for 9:15 am. I was trying for a "relaxed" MK day, but when I read his post and saw how quickly we could get to Mine Train and Peter Pan, I snagged an 8:15! My sleep-loving DH is not thrilled! :) Maybe he can just meet me and DS later in the morning. We always FP+ Mine Train and Peter Pan, but I really want to see the interactive queues. It sounds like the early BOG breakfast is the way to go to do these standby lines!

Thank you for all the responses and comments. I actually was able to snag an 8:25 today. I'm just going to keep trying and see if I can get it backed up to at least 8:15. Very happy about getting the 8:25.....

Even if they didn't do the actual rope drop 10 minutes or more before the official opening time ( which they usually do) 20 minutes is not enough time to go in, order, pay, find a table, wait for your meal, eat, leave, and get to the rope drop area in time. Even if you could accomplish all this by 9:00, you would still end up at the end of a very looooooooooong standby line at SDMT.

Except you'll still be in the FP line if you're part of the BoG early crowd since that's they way they funnel you in quickly.

LOL I hope you have a strong stomach...I made that mistake last year and about lost my breakfast !

Thanks for posting this. Since it will just be my daughter and I we will hopefully be able to snag an 8am reservation. We don't mind getting up early, especially to beat the crowds.

Hope you are not going at an earlier EMH day if so you really need to be there at EMH rope drop.

If it was me I would do it on two separate days. Breakfast one day and rope drop craziness another. It is an expensive breakfast to rush through.

We were last week and twice was on the first car of the day for dwarfs. In line at 6:35 raced to get in front. The one day we went the wrong way around the castle & we had a twenty minute wait just for Dwarfs.

We love to old school it. Rope drop is the best way. Our first day 3rd to see the Ice girls. We were not even planning on it then found out Thunder does not have EMH in the am so thought what the heck we are at the front of the line.
My DD was thrilled and had no autograph book yet so they signed my print out of our fast passes. Yes not trusting wifi in the parks.

It was a lot of fun & good memories.

Enjoy your trip
