Well @TISHLOVESDISNEY I too never gave up. It took 5 phone calls but I finally got the BB dates in May and the standard room at Pop Century I wanted and saved 167 dollars also. Yay. But @jennab I too was like you and couldn't do anything online and had to call each time. But my point is don't give up. Keep trying even if it means calling for some of us. It's always nice getting the BB reservation you really want.

Oh yes I agree but at least only one of the calls were rather long and I did have great CMs every time I called so that helped. LOL I do admit I wish I wasn't one of the unfortunate ones who had to call. Just glad I don't have to call anymore. Yay

I wonder why some changed to be able to modify online and some didn’t? Although, I think even if I could I’d be out of luck, because one CM took my 2 split stays (same room type same resort) and was able to get them combined into one 9 night stay. From what I’ve gotten from other CMs is that it’s very hard to find that many consecutive days on a bounce back.
 
I’ve been trying to get a standard view room at the poly and no luck. The preferred view room rate with the BB is the same as a regular standard view room rate so we ended up not saving much from the original $850+ per night cost (family of 5). Booked a second room for extended family (their kids first time at WDW; they want to stay on the monorail loop).

We were debating adding 2 nights post cruise since kids have the Mon off but with potentially limited LLMP availability (spring break), we just don’t think it would be worth the cost. Travelocity was showing the same room rate for AOA Nemo as the Bounceback ($488+ a night - $550 with taxes).
 
Is anyone who had the ability to modify their BB online having problems doing so the few days?? Mine suddenly doesn’t work. It shows me no rooms available anywhere, but then when I choose all resort lots of options come up, but then when I choose an individual resort from that list none of the rooms it just listed shows up as available?!? Just started a few days ago prior to that I had no problems.

I’ve been playing with my BB for May almost every day without any problems. I have found resorts & room types showing up with rates. There haven’t been any I want to change to, so I haven’t gone thru the booking process. But I am seeing resorts & rooms with actual rates showing.

Thanks for your post. I wonder what is wrong with my account/app/whatever?? What browser are you using? Maybe I’ll try it playing around with that or maybe I’ll try on a regular computer…. 🤞

So it’s not limited to just the 7 day booking window. You can still apply the offer to rooms any time? I did check but gave up on day 7 (no Poly resort view deluxe suites).

You have to book within the 7 day window. After that, you can change those reservations online. Note… the online change option is only for those BB reservations you made online yourself. Any that you previously booked over the phone with a CM, you still have to call to change.

I actually called to modify my BB and after the CM modified it over the phone, the online option showed up for me in my app/website.

Is that the 1 that’s not showing for you now? Maybe that’s the issue. In the past, I’ve heard that once a CM changes your reservation, you can’t do it online anymore. This was for any reservation, not just BB.

Actually it was the opposite for me. I never had the online option bc I had made it a while ago, but recently had a cast member modify it for me. Once he modified it, I was able to change it online. It is still sort of working, but just not showing me the correct availability when I try actually going through the change/booking.

But maybe that’s why it’s not showing you the availability. Maybe you still have to call. Even tho you have the change button, the system might not actually be set up to allow you to do it. The ones I made online myself are actually showing resorts, rooms & rates available.

It’s probably something like that. I was able to do last week though. Who knows with Disney IT?? 😆 Maybe they changed it again.

I’m sorry you are having this issue. It sounds like we are experiencing the same thing. I too see the availability when I hit all resorts, but then show nothing when I click on it. Very frustrated. Either they changed it or it’ll resolve itself. Good luck with your reservation and trip. 😀

I did book over the phone but can modify online. I tried modifying within the 7 days and it shows the price difference (similar to other packages I’ve booked in the past). I haven’t tried doing that after the 7 days.

Interesting. I have 3 BBs I made over the phone. None of them showed a change button even during my new 7 day booking period after my trip last month. I made 2 new BBs during that time. Those show the change button & give me all the available options.
