Bounceback Information and FAQ Thread - 25-35% off BOUNCEBACKS ARE BACK for 2025! Updated 1/31/2025

@Starclassic and @VAtink - Thanks for the additional info. Some ideas, maybe you've already tried this.

1. Do you have an offer saved in your cart? Make sure your cart is empty before trying to make a change.
2. If you've tried making a change in the app, try using a desktop browser and vice-versa. Or try a different browser or try incognito / private browsing.

I suspect they made a change and broke something on the back-end, but at least you do get to see availability for the offer, which is pretty awesome!

Hi everyone, any idea when the 2026 days would be released? Also if I book a bb before the 2026 days are released, can I modify that reservation to a 2026 date once they are released? Thanks

Was coming on to ask the same! Hopefully someone knows :)

I'm definitely NOT an expert, but this is exactly what 3 separate CMs at Disney have told me.

Mind you, there are some subtle nuances in what they say, but booking in 2025 (at 2025 rates) and then modifying to 2026 (once the rates are released) is absolutely possible. The first CM I spoke to made it seem like this was a very common practice.

I find that Disney doesn't like to commit to what they will do in the future or when they will do it, so they were all over the place as far as when the rates will be announced. Maybe spring? Maybe early summer? Maybe even within the next few weeks?

And then they also can't say when the 2026 bounce-back program will be finalized (or if even offered.)

So I've got my reservation and will just keep checking here and the Disney site to see when the information drops.

Have I mentioned that I don't think WDW makes it particularly easy to get this done!?! Just my opinion...

Just returned from our trip, and received the BB offer after the first portion of our trip before transferring to the next Disney hotel. We don’t have plans to go again this year, but next year is a possibility and you can’t get much better than the 35% off offer - if I understand correctly, you can book a 2025 package then change your dates to 2026 date(s). If that is correct, how do you know when you can change the dates? Also, I guess picking a room category or price (or even resort for that matter really make a difference? I know you can’t just apply a discount anyway, the room has to be available under the discount just like a general public discount.

How should I handle this?

If you’re thinking about returning, I’d book. You could change your dates, but it won’t guarantee the discount would be available. Or if the BB will even be offered in 2026. You could book and cancel if the discount or the dates you want aren’t available. You do have to book within 7 days of departure and you will have to put down a deposit (refunded if canceled).

I'm hoping that the same will roughly be for me. I was WDW the 3rd week of February and plan to return in February 2026. I made a bounce back reservation for dates in December 2025 and am hoping that I can change it to February 2026 when those discounts are released. I booked All Star Sports as that was the less expensive option. I subscribed to this thread and hopefully I'll receive a notification when the 2026 bounce back discounts can be reserved and I can upgrade to either POFQ or POR.

Made my reservations for the end of the year - hopefully I’ll find out if the bb offer is available fir February 2026.

I too am one of the people sitting on a late 2025 res hoping for 2026 bb offer availability. Is there a support group? 😂😂

Hi.....I'm Amanda and I too am guilty of having a BB December reservation that I do not plan to keep.......:rotfl:

I have rooms at All Stars that I am *hoping* to keep pushing out until 2027 or 2028. If it works, YAY! If it doesn't, no biggie. I'll just cancel and get a refund. Can't blame a gal for tryin' to save a $. :p

I was also part of this group, planning for a 2026 trip...until I rescheduled that bounceback to a trip for later this month! OOPS! 😂
But you better believe I'll be grabbing another placeholder after this trip.

Just a heads up, some Club level rooms have been showing at YC for early May. I was going to skip YC during all the pool & room rehab & have Riviera booked. But the BB is 35% off so it’s hard to resist. And we don’t use the pool anyway. I moved a December BB & grabbed the YC CL for now. Have to talk with my husband & see what he prefers.

I noticed that and was tempted, but don’t know if I can do it without the pool.

We used to go a few times a trip. But we’re old now, it’s not worth the effort to drag the bathing suit on when I can just lie on the bed & chill in the AC. :rotfl2:
I agree SAB is a big production. I’d be fine with the quiet pool (under normal circumstances when it’s not crowded), but my DS likes SAB.

I am a little concerned with my bookings.
So I booked a BB for my Dec trip for our July return. I booked 2 rooms under my account, but one is for my son and his girlfriend, who were not on the first trip, but I assumed I could do this since it is my party, we just need 2 rooms. But it would not let me put my son's name only mine. I figured when I call in to payoff I could change the name (have done this in the past with AP rate rooms) but since it is a BB and they weren't a part of the first trip will I have issues? I definitely don't want to lose my rates, so should I just add the other adult to my room with myself and my DS13 and leave it? I know I'll have magicband issues, but DS can open the door if need be...
