Bounceback Information and FAQ Thread - 25-35% off BOUNCEBACKS ARE BACK for 2025! Updated 1/31/2025

You are entitled to the bounceback offer discussed in this thread. I believe you have to call within a week of your trip.
Yes, that's correct.
Even if you didn't get any info in your room or an email about this, you qualify for the bounceback offer as long as you call within 7 days of checkout. You can also call while you're there.

They probably don’t bother with the paper under the door if you’re already visiting three times in 6 months.

@Love4Eeyore Any registered guest at a WDW resort is eligible to book a bounceback, even those staying on points. No one needs an invitation or any correspondence from Disney to book. The card with the info has been in the resort info booklet that’s typically on a dresser in the room. Those are placed by housekeeping, so sometimes it gets missed. Maybe the guest before you took it & housekeeping didn’t notice, maybe they ran out & forgot to come back with one. Most people also get an email at the end of the stay. The flyer is pictured in the first post on page 1 of this thread. During your stay, call ext 8844 from your room. After you check out, you have 7 days to book. The phone number is also listed on page 1. Don’t let the fact that you didn’t get an individual invitation stop you from calling.

Thank you all for the info! Our stays in '22 & '23 we received emails for the bounceback but nothing at all after our 3 stays this year. That's where I was getting confused. I kept expecting that email! I never read the lit. in the rooms, far too tired usually. 😆 I called since we're still within the 7 days of checkout. We're set now! Thanks again!

I was just about to post the telephone number and advise you to call and throw yourself on their mercy if it had been more than 7 days. But you're good. Hurrah!

Can you call on your check in day if you have already done the online check in via the app? I dont arrive until after 9:00pm and am trying to coordinate with another family to book 2 bounceback rooms for 2025. It would be easy to call and talk to someone at my leisure rather than having to stress out about calling and then discussing my options with other family and then calling back to actually make the reservations. Or will I just have to wait until I return home?

We have not received confirmation yet if you can book a bounceback before the reservation has been accessed onsite. Let us know how it goes and if you are booked as a package or room only.

Also, you have up to 7 days after check-out to call, so there is really no rush to do it on your check-in day.

Public Service Announcement ;)

Reminder to everyone to read through the first post, which includes helpful tidbits and FAQs such as:
  • Even if you don't see it in the room/TV/email, there is a Bounceback available. CALL IF YOU DON'T SEE AN OFFER.

My daughter just returned Monday from a short trip to Pop Century. They then received an e-mail stating they could do a bounce back for 25% off their next stay. She called Tuesday and asked if she could get 35% off at a deluxe resort next year and wanted 3 rooms. We were able to book 7 nights, 3 rooms at the Contemporary for next June with 35% off each. We booked as a package without tickets.

I plan on using the bounce back offer after our stay in late July. I have never took advantage of this offer before.
I wonder if you can apply and manage the offer in your MDE. I am concerned about adding dining, the new genie plus multi pass, magic bands, friends and family, ect. I like being able to pull up my resort reservations on MDE.
Is this possible with the bounceback offer?

You’ll have a regular reservation number and you can definitely pull it up in MDE and see the details, but if you want to modify it, change the dates, room type, resort, etc., you have to call the reservation number. So it’s pretty much the same, except for being able to modify it online yourself. (You cal so can’t see the BB availability yourself online—you have to call to see what dates/rooms are available under the discount.

Exactly this!

Just wanted to share my experience booking. We booked two different trips - one for April 2025 and one for October 2025. I called the day after we got home from our trip. We got a water view room at GF for April (no resort view left for the bounce back) and two standard rooms at Pop for October.

Our October dates extend outside the eligible dates for bounce back, so one half gets the discount while the other days are at rack rate. They kept it under one reservation (I had heard that they may need to split it into two reservations). The CM I talked to had no issue making it a room-only discount instead of a package, though she did seem like she was trying to persuade me to stick with the package option. She did also confirm I can book 3 rooms per trip, and as many trips as I like. Overall was quick and easy!

Would anyone be willing to share some actual numbers that you have gotten for the bounce back deals? Like, the actual price per night with the discount? I know dates and hotel prices vary but I’m just curious to see what the numbers actually look like. TIA! 🏰😍🎆

I booked a bounceback - all my nights were included and then I looked at the cost very carefully because free dining came out for our exact dates as well.

  • The room-only bounceback, is *exactly* the price per night when you look at the rack rate in the Disney website, and discount it by the appropriate level (35% for deluxes / villas, 30% for moderates and 25% for values) + tax. You can do a mock booking in the Disney website to get an idea.
  • The package bounceback is *exactly* the price per night when you look at the rack rate in the Disney website, and discount it by the appropriate level (35% for deluxes / villas, 30% for moderates and 25% for values) and add the tax, tickets and about $20 for the package price. Note that only the room portion is discounted, other portions, such as tickets, memory maker and dining are not discounted in the bounceback.
For my family, the bounceback at Yacht Club gave us a discount of $265 per night, which is exactly what I calculated for my specific dates for a YC WV. The discount for free dining was technically higher, BUT, when I ran the dining calculations for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens, the inclusions in the plan weren't sufficient; we eat at a lot of Lounges / TS, no desserts, and we would need to spend quite a bit of OOP and the DDP would not give us a nightly value close to what the plan cost. And by purchasing our ticket separately, we saved. So, I cancelled the Free Dining and kept the Bounceback.

If you want to scan rack rates, to give you a sense of cost, here are the rack rates (with tax) for 2024 and 2025.

Look up the dates you want and the resort you want, and then use the appropriate discount amount as @vinotinto mentions above, that is what you will pay if the room is available. The Polynesian is almost impossible.

It's a good reminder that like any other discount, availability is limited. Not every resort / room type is available with a discount.

Are there any reports of anyone being able to book a bounceback for the new Poly tower?
Conversely, do the newest printings list the new Poly tower as being excluded?
